I think the rollout of the prints and the Thiele Thomas took all of the attention away from Beck's Mays.

Though it's not a top 5 Beck card for me I do like it a lot.

The yellow works nicely to brighten it up a bit.

Its one of his best! The 3D effect will match the Gooden and maybe even one up it with the darker color.

Update would be great. Put each player on a card with another team they played for. Over half still have another team. I know it's stupid, but what about Topps isn't?

I do like the idea of letting each artist recreate 3 of their cards. I know Efdot has made comments about some of his early cards, even though I love his McGwire.

Print run on cards 81-99 just got smaller. I was sucked in over Memorial Day weekend and started to order a 10 pack of each.

Got tired of looking at them, threw them in a few garbage bags and out to the curb they went.

I feel much better.

Hello friends.

Checking in for the first time in a bit. The fact that Topps is slacking on print runs sucks. No other way to put it. We used to get PR's on Saturdays and Sundays, now we can't even get them on Fridays. If the manufacturer can't keep up with the project, how can the consumers? I admit that I am a print run queen so it is probably more important to me than others, but it's a big chunk of the fun of the project that has gone away.

HUGE box from Wheeler delivered on Friday. Spent most of the weekend digging through it. I love this set and these cards. No regerts.

On the polls - I goofed. Apparently the results are only good for a week or so, and while I was dragging my feet on it, they expired and I was no longer able to see them. I'm going to repost starting with the last one, and only take a day or two between rounds. You snooze you lose but that's showbiz babyyyyyy. I will have the re-vote up shortly.
