Does Shore do his Ryan card with Seaver? A 67' / 68' mashup? If so, instant top 10 card in the set?

Either of these would be dope as hell.

Would people want it laid out a certain way? He has a handful of two player cards, not sure if people include the Rickey or not. Would people like it like the Doc and Trout? Or more like the Thomas with him sneaking Bo on there?

I'd love to see it personally, in my mind's eye I see the two frames and one coming into the others frame. Make it a horizontal card. For me becomes a top 10 card. Topps throws the foil chance and think it becomes a hot seller late in the set.

Do you think he’d do (what you’d have to assume would be at this point) a one-off horizontal for his set?

Shore won't go horizontal at this point. I could see Fucci going horizontal on his Clemente though which would be his one and only horizontal.

I think Shore would (and I hope). It is on of the cards I'm most looking forward to, McGwire/Ermsy and Jeter/Rochester being the others. And whatever Foil card Taylor ends up doing.

Shore and Fucci have both gotten a bit playful with their cards in the second half.

I wouldn't bet on either doing a horizontal card but wouldn't be shocked either.

I'd prefer it if neither did.

I assume Ermsy = Fucci?

And agreed, I could see them both doing it just to do it, but doubt it’ll happen. Who knows though, I’m excited and sad to see how it all wraps up.

I'm definitely getting a little sad already when I see how few of each artist we have left.

Grotesk posted on his IG 2 cards left and a few surprises. So sounds like more things are coming, plus the earlier post mentioning Efdot.

I'm all about a Topps Traded Bo Jackson as a surprise for Project 2020.

Default Topps Project 2020 is the worst product since 1991 Fleer

This set is just getting warmed up. Like many said before, the fun will begin after card #400 is released.

I'm really coming around on the Siff Williams.

Top Ted by a mile, and a top tier set entry.

There is no doubt.

This ride isn’t close to over. Buckle up and enjoy it. The real fun is about to begin.

It would be consistent for Shore to do it for Ryan as a tribute to Topps' second most iconic card, the 1968 Jerry Koosman rookie. It would be a complete 180 for Fucci to do it, so I don't see that happening.

My black sheep guess: Blake finishes horizontal, as part of a dramatic and messy divorce from TBP.

FTFY. It's possibly even surpassed Siff's Ryan as my favorite Siff.

I low-key love-hate both of yesterday's cards. They're both kinda ugly, but they wear their ugliness with panache. The Ted Williams looks like a baseball card rosary bead, where Siff inserts one flag for every traditional baseball card fan that he offended with his Sandy Koufax card. [The flags with Teddy Ballgame's face on them is also great kitsch]

Welcome to the party. Finally. My only real negative for that card is it has too much of a poster vibe. I get a very calming sense of violence and chaos (I know, it’s as confusing as it sounds) when I look at it. The card takes me places. It’s behind the only the Brett for me.

50ish responses, will close it out tonight.

1 is tied, 1 is close.

You guys just love Ermsy and Naturel. If these polls are any indicator, Naturel's low PR stuff should be a safe investment to maintain MSRP. The rest of his cards are easy buys for me from here on out.

You guys hate Joshua Vides, Don C, and Oldmanalan. Who saw that coming.

Don't worry, I haven't completely come over to your dark side: I still have Ryan > Brett.

I don't see it as a poster. I see it as a baseball card in mourning, that captures that moment in a funeral when you're sad but you're also happy since you're remembering your grandmother's sausage and peppers and stories about all her friends who got pregnant out of wedlock in the 1930's and how cool it was that she used a 31-ounce bat during her amazing .370 season in 1987.

If I wanted to nitpick something beautiful, I'd say that the main image of Tony and the "TONY outfield PADRES" part should be bigger. And Captain Video pushed out of the frame entirely. But, this is balanced out by Siff's signature being very proportionate.

The top one would be great, but Shore couldn't draw it. It will be a disaster whatever he chooses to do.

A Ryan and Seaver combo card by Shore would be awesome -
I'd buy one for sure, even if it didn't use the '67 horizontal border/frame.
