I think the prizm parallel autos are actually going to hold value quite well. Panini was relatively reserved compared to what we see today...

Yea, I thought it was a good deal for both to.

Looking forward to Celtics/Bucks game tonight. The Giannis and Simmons hype is good for the basketball hobby across the board. Seemed like it got a little stale with the lackluster rookie crop last year.

Question: Why are 14-15 Silver Prizms so expensive? One ended a few days ago at almost 30. One is ending today and it's already at 30. What's up with that? Not even Silvers or high numbered cards from other guys (LeBron, Kobe) are going for that much.

Hype I'd imagine.. if you can't get a silver from his rookie year maybe that's the next best choice? lol I have no idea.. seems absurd to me too.

Yeah it definitely carries a premium being a second year "refractor"-type card.

It's like how Topps chrome refractors of Lebron exloded in the last year. His 2006 chrome refractor sells somewhere around $100 even though it isn't numbered

Giannis only has prizm (not chrome) so I feel like his prizm silvers of any year will be in demand at some point

They just do it randomly and give it a 9.5 or 10. And I am not being sarcastic at all. They do this with a few sets.

This is correct. Once people get priced out of a certain rookie year card, they'll start searching for 2nd year versions. LeBron and Kobe 2nd year refractors fetch 150-200 typically.

Not sure on the value, but that red /25 sure is a sharp card in hand.

The red one can get you 50 easily right now. A silver just went for 30.

The mojo one, given it's third year, might get you around 20-25 I guess? I sold mine almost after release for less than 10. But I won't be shocked if you get around 30 or even 50 for it.

I get the 2nd year thing...but even looking at other guys (Kawhi, AD) their prices are not as crazy. And 13-14 Prizms were way more limited than 14-15 ones.

I guess Giannis stuff is just too much right now.

With the turn around time from what I've read in the grading threads you mine as well sell silver now at peak ISH and cash out than wait 3-4 months when the sustainability for his numbers wiLL be hard to last & buy a graded for few hundred more than what that ungraded silver goes for ... Hype is at all time high so I sold out of 70% over handful prizm I had and buying numbered stuff that's gonna catch up once prizm is to pricey

Sounds nice though . I was gong to invest in some tools to help me make judgement and or clean cards to know potential grade worthy bc the pop reports are so high .PSA 10 rates on the prizm (70-73%)I thought I could buy base up that would pay out .. WRONG

lucky Chipz An some others in here helped educate me before I spent a ton on scratched up eBay or shady blowout member cards .

I live in Dallas an BGS still takes awhile when I dropped stuff off recently on T/A . What's PSA ? As bad as what I'm reading u less u lay out the azzz ?

Some big items popping off before game time. A PSA 10 Silver Prizm got $2500 earlier ,but some non Prizm items are setting new highs also.

Yaaa... smart move is to buy up all the 2nd -3rd year stuff since it'll go up some day

Looks nice! but does it have the print dot above his left shoulder? I think that's what keeps a lot of these from getting at 10, or at least i've heard. The raw copy I have has the print dot so i'm not sure if I want to grade it or not..
