Topps could have made Yelich/Stroman/Hosmer as well (provided that they have autograph contract with them), but it's difficult to price that one because those 3 don't have too much hobby value as compared to Lindor/Correa/Baez, and not many people will buy at a really expensive price tag.
I do like the Puerto Rico triple card but do believe Fred can and should choose three players with hobby love that would sell a triple auto USA card. Come on a combination of any of these players POSEY, Bregman, McCutchen or Yelich, Stanton, Jones would be nice and have enough demand to sell better than some that have not sold out.

Hey Fred,

Is there a way you can separate the topps now spring training cards, Road to Opening Day cards & the WBC cards on different pages..
It cluttered too much with 3 different sets...

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I found another error card.

W-26: on the back, "Welington" is misspelled as "Wellington"

Loved the price point the day after the championship game. Yesterday...not so much. WAY overpriced IMO. Ugh!

To much Red, I like the /5 version better which used to be the /99 ....They would have sold all/99 at $ 200 I bet. Which would have given them almost 20 grand in sales. As opposed to the 6 grand total on the /5

I just saw on eBay, that the Adam Jones HR robbing card sold for $35, and the only current listing have it priced at $65 BIN BO.
The print run was really high, and I thought the market will stay low for this card.
Anybody have idea why there are such few listings of this card and why the price stays so high?
One reason can be that the actual cards haven't arrived to anyone yet (some people don't like listing them until in hand), but there has got to be more than 1 flipper who bought deep into this card, and they usually would do presell to flip...
I don't think the high PR was all by pure collectors buying just 1 for themselves.

I think the PR triple auto card is very studly.

I did not have the coin for it though but it is one tough card.

Did they only make these season ticket holder cards for Cubs and Yankees only, or has anyone seen any other teams?

I haven't tried on this one, but it might apply only to the Cubs Spring Training set.
At least, that was how it was for the discount code on Cubs convention card.

But the code is effective till 1st May, so we might see it working for other regular orders once the season starts.

Alright, we're getting close to entering round 2 of Topps Now. Predictions on how "Series 1" pricing will be affected, if at all, by "series 2"? With more traditional releases, new singles sinks prices of old (on average).

Will last seasons moments be cheapened by the new season? Or do we think this program builds more stable pricing with the added nostalgia of milestone or game specific cards?

All I can say is, year 2 is when etopps when crazy and year 1 cards went bonkers!

For the people that were not around (myself included), can you tell us some stories?

Etopps was also an internet exclusive. Good looking cards to say the least. Print runs were in the 100s on up the first year. Hell, I didn't even know about them.

They had 2000 and 2001 football and 2001 baseball that exploded in 2002. cards were going for $20-hundreds of dollars. The Tony Banks, the SP of the entire run, was if I remember correctly in the $500-$1000 range.

Dead commons were going high because of print run. The Topps Now cards are not uncirculated like etopps, but the print runs are in the same neighborhood as the Etopps print runs.

My hope is, people start discovering Topps Now and all the cards start selling in the 500-1000 range, which will make the 200 print runs from 2016 hopefully go nuts.

It's tough to say, but there are some parallels to the two series.

One of the benefits to eTopps was the cards, being uncirculated and held at Topps (unless shipped), were easily transferable through eBay auctions.

Although, that shipping issue eventually became one of the deaths of eTopps...

Default 2017 TOPPS NOW Baseball Only Please Thread.

Does anyone buy the "limited" release sets like TBT for $19.99 when there's no chance of an auto or gu card? I just don't get it. Why pay $20 for 6 cards that bear absolutely no resale value, cards aren't numbered, except for stated print run on topps' website.

I mean I like the idea but it's really not a value whatsoever. Especially if you're not going to resell. The past TBT sets can all be had for about $10 buying each card singly.
