Just saw the Walmart Super Bowl ad that had a Mars Attacks cameo. Kind of fun.

Pledged!

Regarding the Hot Packs, are the Masters of Mars Attacks (Outer Limit style cards), Mars Motors (set of 6 stickers), Early Mission (2013 Heritage set of 6), and Mars & Dino (18 Dino/Mars Heritage cards) exclusive cards/stickers to these Hot Packs?

Adam, it is my understanding that sidekick will not send out the survey asking us what we actually want (as far as add-ons) until after our credit cards have been charged.

As a total kickstarter newbie is this standard protocol? The dollar amount i pledged towards add-ons far exceeds my pledge level and there is no indication i am getting anything other than the initial pledge.

To me this is slightly concerning, can you make me feel better about it

Yes, and there's no way to send out the surveys until after the campaign. We do not control when KS charges you. This is how it has always been handled, because there is really no other way to handle it. It also takes us time to configure the survey (which is actually one of the most technically challenging aspects of the project), and can't be started until the campaign ends.

I’ve done numerous Kickstarters including the MA Occupation. You have nothing to worry about and you’ll get everything you’ve ordered. It’s a super easy process, while filling out the survey.

Just about to unlock our 3rd stretch goal. The second, btw, adds a foil stamp for "First Day Backers" on a special bonus card.

50k was our funding goal for occupation. Nice to know if we'd kept it at 50K we'd have still funded on day 1!

Coming up on 60k in a hurry (with $760 from that coming from me, my good man).

Congrats on the already successful funding.

Looking forward to you guys hitting the rest of the stretch goals.
That 9 card puzzle in the binder would be sweet, and would go nicely with those two scavenger hunt 9 card promo puzzle sets from SDCC a few years back.

I you might have mentioned a posible third hit in the hobbybox is this correct? Are you able to decipher 525 purchase's from first timers. I bumbarded Mantic and the sketch card market. Think we will hit 100,000 by midnight I think we are going to need more stretch goals.

Yes, there's a stretch goal that will add a third hit, it's high but attainable, if we match our previous total (or come relatively close).

And don't worry, I have stretch goals planned up to 400K-- though over 250K there are some that are bonus pay-outs to artists.

Hey Adam! If you’re still doing those ‘in space’ tobacco cards. At what $$$ amount will they be as a stretch goal?

I don't want to nail us down to a specific amount yet, but at the moment I think it's like 200K? Somewhere around there. Once it hits, they will be auto added to the 1600 level.

That’s great! Looking like you could even get close to $100000K tonight. Still lots of high level pledges left.

I am honestly very surprised, and humbled, by the turnout on Day 1. Well beyond what I expected. Thank you to everyone who pledged, and supported Mars Attacks through thick and thin.

Thank you Adam! You’re the one keeping Mars Attacks alive for all of us. None of this would be possible without you.

Nice to be unlocking stretch goals.

-Every physical order now includes a promo pack with all 5 prerelease promos, 3 "Martian Life" cards, and 3 "M.A.R.S. Initials" stickers.

-We've added 6 story cards to the base set (now 24 new story cards, a 78 base card set)

-We've added an exclusive bonus card to the binder.

-We've added a backer exclusive card with "First Day Backer" stamp where applicable.

If we pass 95K today, the bonus card in the binder will become a 9-card puzzle set.

I was wondering about the hot packs also.

Monster of Mars Attacks is 9 exclusive Cards.
Mars Motors is 6 stickers using art from the chase set, but as stickers. Not available elsewhere.
Early Missions includes the 6 Earl Norem cards from Invasion, but printed on retro stock, with heritage format, available nowhere else.
Dino Attacks Hot Pack includes all 18 Dino crossover cards (9 from Occ, 9 from Upr) formatted on hertiage, available only in this pack.

There is an update planned that will outline this in detail.

We did it with Occupation in 2015, reissuing the original '62 series on metal, and it proved very popular, so this time, instead of a set of 55, we are doing a set of 103 -- reissuing Invasion and Occupation-- on metal. The $1600 level and the 8-box case will also include the box art from those two sets on metal, not available in packs.
