I'm already on record, but like to reiterate that I'd take him over Ja, Trae, and LaMelo. The West is crowded but I think if the team puts any sort of talent around him he's a perennial All-Star

Had to double check, but this man is shooting 49% from deep this month.

To say he's on a heater would be an understatement. Hope he enters the 3 point contest for the lulz.

I was over the moon high on Shai for the longest time, I soured on him after watching his playoff performance. I wouldn't have cared if he went 0-20 from the field but his lack of effort and aggressiveness was eye opening. I started to get a major DLO vibe from him. He cares more about how he looks on the court than how he plays...I hope I'm wrong though.

I don't think his playoff had to do with a lack of aggressiveness, it had to do with Chris Paul taking over during the playoffs as he has been tested many times over in those situations.

This is especially intriguing given that OKC is likely to bring some quality talent aboard next year whether by the draft or by trading picks (If I’m not mistaken they have a plethora of future picks?).

SGA is looking better than ever and OKC isn’t the mess everyone thought it would be. I think he’s a great hold right now.

Yea, agreed. Although I do think it will happen in the future.

haha was just using the prizm base as an easy baseline

Injuries have basically negated all the FA signings in ATL so far this season. They are fairly healthy now so let's see what they do after all star break.

I think SGA might be the better player overall but I don't think he'll have more hobby love than Trae unless SGA he becomes a top 15 player in the league.

Even as a Trae stan I think Shai is a far more complete player. You can put him in any system, he can play PG, he can play SG, he can play SF. I think Trae has a much higher ceiling but Shai is the far better basketball player.

I actually think his ceiling is significantly higher than trae's. SGA has the capacity end up a very good defender by virtue of his length. I also don't think Trae will ever match his offensive efficiency(50% VS 58% efg this season). And I'd bet in that chasm widening.
