You did nothing wrong, I just get confused by all the wavy lava shimmer parallels. When I got back into cards I only noticed the reds/golds/blues etc, maybe this stuff has been around longer than I'm aware of but it seems like they've added a bunch of new things that I'm struggling to keep track of.

Trust me I get confused by them all as well. For example I pulled a card of J.D. Martinez as well tonight, it is numbered 4/10, I just can't figure out what is so special about the card that would make it a numbered version, etc. The border is black, but so many variations of cards, and I am not a regular collector so I will be the first to say I am not overly knowledgable about the variations, etc.

Until Skenes/Merrill/Yamamoto surface, I think the box prices will continue to rise, hard to believe there's that much more of this still out there, but maybe people are hoarding it...

I think several were pulled that just never made it to social media, but who knows. Evan Carter is another decent one still not seen..

My LCS has Jumbo boxes at a grand as of today. The same store had them for 800 just two days ago.

This is really really interesting! So just what is publicly known, 72.9% of the debut patches have been hit. That is a staggering amount of product that has been churned through searching for these cards. No wonder prices keep going up on this, but man I would have never imagined this high.

It was pulled by little Timmy TikTok on Xmas morning in a blaster left under the tree by old white dad in a desperate attempt to sway his kid off social media and into a more traditionally worthy hobby from the olden days.

I have 5 Megas from Target that i was planning to take to a card show at the end of the month and try and sell for $90 per...however....I couldn't live with myself if one of these boxes had the Skenes and i sold it!

As a result, my nephew and I will be opening these 5 boxes this coming Friday night!

My guess is they see the prices of these jumbo boxes go up every day so they just don’t wanna ship them and decide to sell them some other way to make more money. That’s bad business.

Odd for certain since most of what they sell, if not all, is not even theirs. Rare in demand cases so it's hard to believe any reason for which they wouldn't ship them. That stinks.

I hope you enjoy the moment and love xfractors even more so but be prepared for a letdown.

I was thrilled to find 6 & 10 megas on two separate occasions @ $49.99 and no tax. As a set builder it was a large disappointment after realizing there were only 7-9 base cards per box with the rest being parallels and inserts.

Highlights of the first break was an orange RC auto of someone I can't recall and not much else of significance. Second break yielded a ray wave sticker auto of Rhys Hoskins and not much else. I have a total of 64 cards of a 200 card set.
