Topps doing 1 foil every 20 orders would greatly reduce the number of total foil cards, correct?

When was the last card that broke 10K that wasn't a Trout? Its been a long time since even a Trout hit 10,000

Just opened my Siff Trout box. Came with 21 cards and the foil card on top. Haven't had a chance to look through the other 20 yet.

EDIT: Just opened the other 20, no gold and no more foils.

The last that I show was the Mattingly Baller released on 7/22. PR was 10,210

The last non Baller and non Trout to break 10k was Griffey Oldmanalan released on 6/26 with a PR of 10,472

I think the 3-pack discount propped up the Rivera Fucci. As part of a 2-pack with either of those, I'm certain that card would have landed under 2k. But since you couldn't buy the Cartoon Ripken and the Griffey Baller together at a discount, people bought the Fucci to get the discount.

More than half of those were the stretch from 79 (Mister Cartoon Robinson) to 105 (King Saladeen Ryan) where they all exceeded 10k, with the exception of 83 Matt Taylor Thomas at 8806.

So it looks like the Trout foils are in addition to the base cards. 1 in 20 get the card they ordered PLUS the foil. Kind of makes sense, I guess? Base print run is what it is, foil print run is what it is, addition by addition.
