Not a mail day, but extremely excited to get this /125 Smits today on COMC!

Will look great in a top-loader with the other variations. Just need the Gold exclusive /1 to finish the "rainbow."

Trying really hard not to let this thread get buried too far in the archives. Still respecting "Abra" and the die-hard hobbyists who built this 245+ page masterpiece 10 years ago this year! I found this on the Comc today. I have very few cards dated between 2000 and 2012, but collecting Jersey numbered Iggys has certainly added a few here and there. I've never seen this set or any of the other parallel colors, but I would think the similar colors might look pretty cool in hand. I guess I will see when it gets here. Thought it was a decent price too for the low print. Picture courtesy of the fine folks at comc!

I recently started going after some cards of the players who were supposed to be "the next mj" and im surprised how cheap they are.

Not exactly a mail day but I picked these up at a local card show. 15 cards for $7 (gave 1 card to a friend for nostalgic purposes [a numbered Anthony Randolph studio RC]) so only 14 pictured here.

Nice run. Good luck on the 1/1 hunt. I’d be thrilled just to add the Penny F/X /125. I pulled the Bronze /100 at release and only learned recently that both the Gold and Bronze are technically called “UD Exclusives gold/bronze”

Less and less of these cards are available. I haven't added a numbered Smits card in awhile. These cards are being stashed into PC's and some of the prices are insane right now for the stuff I need. I won't be paying $100 plus for a Flair Showcase /100 Smits card.

The funny thing is I have 4 of the /100 Bronze Smits cards and there are two more on COMC for a reasonable price. I have only seen one of the /125 and jumped on it as soon as I saw it.

After three years of looking, the 1996-97 Fleer Ultra Platinum was finally listed on eBay. These 90's parallels are a PITA to find sometimes!

I started way too late to be a super collector. Some of the cards I want are already locked up in collections and I refuse to pay some of the prices for the rare sets like some of the star rubies, super rave, and essential credentials cards. I have 457/834 different cards on the TCDB checklist and probably a dozen more on the way back from COMC right now. Panini has been putting his sticker autos on cards recently and with a dozen parallels each. I should really just be collecting his playing day stuff, but I can't stop getting his modern cards.

Here is my TCDB. If anyone has anything, please let me know!

This is where I’m at too. I still cannot believe what certain parallels go for, I don’t care how much people try to normalize it.

I have been able to dodge ultra modern though. It seems like Penny is in hundreds of different Panini auto sets.
