Nothing to do with actual play, but being a good person is important too.

Things like this is one of the reasons players like JJJ are pulled for. Well done young. Man!

Man, JJJ just went down and had a hard time putting wait on his left leg when he walked. Hope it’s just sore and nothing major.

And as I type this, thankfully he is waking slowly back to the bench.

Looked like an awkward dead leg. His knee didn’t seem to twist/bend in any unnatural way fortunately.

Yeah I was a little puzzled because it didn’t seem like a really bad collision. It looked like he got hit more on the muscle of his leg and not on bone.

They just reported that he got hit in the calf. Glad it wasn’t anything serious for him.

He’s 3rd in the league behind gobert and turner… I’ll take it

Turner is out, at minimum, a couple weeks. I think JJJ passes him for #1 in STOCKS (Steals + Blocks) in their next game, and he may pass him in blocks if he keeps up his torrid pace over this road stretch.

Memphis was missing a handful of rotation guys and came up short against the Bucks, but on a positive note, JJJ stood toe to toe with Giannis and had a monster game. He had 2 points at the half, but finished with 29 pts, 9 reb, and 4 blocks. Not sure what flipped for him in the 2nd half, but it was awesome to see.

Default Let's rap about Jaren Jackson Jr (JJJ)

Playing at the rim is where 85% of his game needs to be. The only reason he should be shooting is to pull defenses out to him and stretch for Ja to penetrate. If he can finish and/or get to the line consistently that’s all his game needs to be.

Pretty similar to Giannis’s game really. Lots of easy high % shots. Nobody is expecting Jaren to shoot 50% from 3 but his 3pt shooting is really bad this year. 25% in January alone. If I were defenses I’d beg him to shoot 3s right now.

I’m not sure if they changed the scheme or if he just found a rhythm, but he has been dominating on defense. Another four blocks tonight, but more like 10 shots impacted.

His timing is better, I think. Young, big men seem to need time to, not only get stronger, but "figure it out" and he's certainly done that. Ja seems to be on a mission to get him some respect for his defense. I love how tight that team is.

This team reminds me of the Warriors and how they grew up together. They do not have a CURRY but they definitely have a Klay in Bane and a better version of Draymond in JJJ. If this team can stay together, they are very young, they will be a force I. The West for a long time.

The team dynamic is similar to the Warriors. You could argue though, what Ja lacks in shooting he makes up for in paint/interior scoring, while Jaren makes up the 3pt/stretching the court/defensive aspect. Then you’ve got bane who I’d say reminds me more of Ray Allen than Klay, and Brooks as the gritty get under your skin guy like Draymond.

Honestly I think the biggest issue they have when fully healthy is that Ja, Jaren, Bane, and Dillon can’t all take 15+ shots per game when everyone is healthy. Their biggest challenge might be staying engaged when they may not always be involved offensively on a night to night basis. But they seem to genuine enjoy each other’s success and are a very tight knit group.

Jaren is nothing like Draymond as a player. Nothing.

Excellent video. Those of us who believed in him saw the potential and the face that he is ONLY 22 speaks to his potential down the line. Ja will always get the bulk of the attention, but JJJ makes that team dangerous because of his defense.

Draymond is a defensive star and JJJ is becoming the same. Draymond can hit a shot every now and then, but is not as skilled offensively as JJJ.

Green is an offensive catalyst for the Warriors. They run the whole offense through him. He's not interested in scoring generally other than to keep the defence honest. He's a terrific passer - averaging about 7 assists per game over the last 7 seasons.
He shoots the odd 3 but isn't a volume shooter, he has no post game at all and no mid range jumper. He can defend all 5 positions and is one of the greatest defenders of the modern era.

Jaren is far more talented offensively - decent post game, can shoot the 3, but they barely ever RUN the offense through him. He averages 1 assist per game.
He's an excellent shot blocker, and it's great to see he's staying out of foul trouble more.

They are definitely not similar players. A player who averages 16-5-1 isn't the same as a player who averages 7-7-7.

Having 6 blocks the other night was a crazy stat to see in the box score. Love it!

Well that’s just not true. Excluding Warriors fans draymond is probably one of the most hated players in the NBA.

Agreed and besides warrior fans, DRay mondo is not collected. JJJ is developing nicely and when you enter at the right price, holding 22 year old potential stars is not a problem. Ja is the man, but JJJ is critical to their future success.
