Teoscar is out, Chris Taylor is in. That's not great.

Don’t worry Bud Black will find a way not to score. The Rockies suck but his managing doesn’t help matters.

Horror of Horrors sac fly for the Rockies I would’ve bet he would either hit into a double play or strike out. I guess Colorado has to win once every 7 games.

Missed a chance to go up 10 games, but oh well.
Getaway game series finale tomorrow, Gavin Stone versus Ty Blach.

Being in that division is a luxury . I thought the A.L East was shaping up to be only a 2 team race between the Yankees and the Orioles but now it looks like the Red Sox are trying to get in the mix.

Ok, so what the efff did I just watch? This game basically came down to no hitting, besides Sho’s bomb, and some very sloppy pitching. Pretty ridiculous.

If you can't push a run across when you start the inning with a guy in 2nd, you deserve to lose.

When was the last time the Dodgers weren't scheduled for a Sunday game?

LA still picked up a half-game on the whole division, since they all lost. Not bad.
Yankees and Baltimore lost, too. Dodgers are still chasing those two, plus Cleveland and Philly for best MLB record, but it's in reach.

Hopefully, that's it on the injuries for a while.

Homers from Ohtani and Freeman have cancelled out the 3 early runs surrendered by Miller.

What is with the Giants white and red home jerseys?
I’m watching the Giants and Cubs game with sound off. Giants have terrible announcers.
Go Cubs

Worst bullpen in baseball and we can’t do anything to pad the lead. Hopefully Phillips has got his stuff going tonight. Here we go!

Nice work from Phillips (and the rest of the pen), although the "heart" of the order from the White Sox is batting around .210 between them.
These are absolutely the games you've gotta have.

Speaking of struggles at the plate, Will Smith batted .212 in May and is on course (.186) to do even worse in June. Dodgers ought to play Barnes a little more often to see if that helps. That .350+ average Will had in March and April is a distant, fading memory.

Dodgers are a neat 50-31, midway thru the season, so on pace for exactly 100 wins. We'll see...

Yes, masterful close by Phillips. Hopefully Miller returns to form. It seems that he and Stone have traded places from a year ago, although the injury does factor in. Maybe the next start we’ll see the true Miller……I really hope.

Stone on-point with a CG shutout although it was against the simply terrible White Sox. Gavin is now 9-2 with a 2.73 ERA. A few more solid starts between now and then would make him a lock for the All-Star Game.

Ohtani with RBI in 10 straight games, a franchise record. Batting .322 with 25 home runs to lead the NL in each of those, he just has to catch doubles-machine Bohm of Philly and Ozuna of Atlanta in RBI to be in Triple Crown position.

It’s the third year in a row where the Angels home series has been Friday Saturday with Sunday off. The prior two were the last series before the break, the first of which was when they hosted ASG.

Another pretty good day from LA, despite not playing, due to losses from the Yankees, Cleveland, Philly (and SF, Arizona, and Atlanta, which is always good). Of the upper echelon teams that played, only Baltimore won today. With these results, the Dodgers now have the top run differential (+120). The best record in MLB is definitely in reach, especially with this patch of easy schedule they're enjoying.

Oof, Treinen.
Faced only 2 batters and lost the game.
Walk-off homer for our chums up North.

Nationwide today on FOX, with another matchup of big fellas, Tyler Glasnow vs. Erik Miller.
Time to start another RBI streak, Ohtani.

Gritty game so far. We really need to stop walking bad hitters. That lead off walk usually bites us in the ass.
