So do packages get delivered and then they sit until the Excel reps come or does the Excel rep bring them and stock them? I’ve always been curious of this workflow.

People keep crapping on Mosaic retail but I've busted ~$1050 worth of it (7 megas and 2 hangers at secondary market prices) and I'm basically at the break-even point.

I have never broken this number of unique boxes/packs (9) from another product (and especially retail too) and broken even. And this is weeks after release too, where resale prices have already dipped significantly.

Maybe I'm lucky with Mosaic but it's an absolutely nice feeling, especially after breaking so many Prizm/Optic/Select/Gala/Innovation/etc boxes and averaging only 20-30% ROI (overall, with the exception of 2017-18 Prizm FOTL since I broke that at release).

My last non-Mosaic breaks have been fifteen 2019-20 Prizm blasters, six 2019-20 Optic retail boxes, five 2019-20 Optic White Sparkle packs, two 2019-20 Select H2 boxes, three 2017-18 Select boxes, three 2014-15 Gala boxes and two 2012-13 Innovation boxes...and the results were so discouraging lol

Another guy showed up about the same time as me and we were both thinking, "that's it???"

Qty of product was so slim and the only thing "new" was Score football, which was small as well.

I am assuming the boxes are delivered in the target delivery trucks and the rep comes to stock depending on their schedule / time. (at least for stores local to me)

I got it from toywiz . I looked for it on Blowout in January for pre-order they didn't have it , then i searched the internet and found it for pre-order . I was tipped off from initially reading this thread in January . Wish I had ordered more it went up in price not to long after I ordered . I was waiting to see how much hobby was thought it was going to be reasonable but was blow away at the price .

You are likely to be able to see the last card in the pink pack if you try hard. Other then that I don't think so.

So people don't like to buy them because others may have searched them but this is not 100%.

When I picked up the packs at target and brought them home I did notice you can see the last card in the pink pack. You can read the card number. I dont think it matters in the store because everyone buys whats on hand but buying online I would be careful.

Yes and mainly don't be a dufus and buy the pink only packs as those have 99% chance of being scanned for the good cards.

I just got a cello box, was going to sell some and open some. 2nd pack in hit a zion base! so pretty happy. Wondering i've been hearing things about collation of players. Does anyone know what the likelihood of hitting another in that lot is? IE if I get a base zion am I expected to get another, or ja or a zion something as well within an amount of packs?

Anything can happen but odds are that there would not be another zion. I have opened more than 300 cello packs and pulled 4 base zion out of them. You may have a shot at a debut or color though as they collate seperately.

You can definitely see the last card. If you buy loose cello, try to find the non collecting flipper. People that dont seem to sell cards but other retail things like clothes or shoes or toys. I have found their stuff to still have good cards in it. They dont think to look at the back card. If it's a collector, 99% chance there is no Zion, Ja, etc.

Thanks for all the feedback to my question on the ability to see the back card in the cellos. I haven’t found any locally and may buy some lots on the secondary market. One more question - are rookies always on bottom or does it vary? Sealed boxes would be the best bet but those are carrying a pretty hefty premium compared to the equivalent number of individual packs from what I’ve seen. Thanks everyone.

I can only comment on how my 18 cello packs were and not 1 rookie was the first 2 cards. Rookie was always the last card in pack for me.
