Here are a few cards just back from PSA this week:

First - I've been working on the 2012 Topps Chrome Rainbow in PSA 10. Missing the Super (haven't seen that one - hope to find it one day, but not holding my breath), and then also Gold and Sepia (which I have in PSA 9, but haven't found in Gem just yet). Well...we can now scratch the Sepia off the list! Woot! Bought this one raw on eBay about a month ago...and honestly thought it had an outside chance at a 10...but wasn't expecting it.



Then...I also bought a Black Refractor BGS 9.5 awhile back. The case was badly scratched and looked like crap...but the card looked pretty nice, so I cracked it and sent it in and got lucky. This one is Pop 6 in PSA 10...and I have subbed two of the six. Would gladly trade this card and a gold PSA 9 for a gold PSA 10! Love the black with red pinstripe border - such a stunning card!



Finally - bought this one raw, and thought it had a very good chance at Gem. Perhaps just a bit too much edge wear on the back...? That's all I can see here.

I finally made a deal on this one last night. I have loved this card since I first saw it a few months back but could never get a deal done on it. It sat for months and every few weeks or so I would send an offer with no response from the seller. Finally, I got a counteroffer a few days ago and we finalized a deal last night. I love everything about this card. It is a great photo, the design conjures nostalgia, and its a Trout!

On another note, this is the first and only I have seen of this Trout. Have I been missing out or is this card one that rarely shows up?

I believe they are numbered to 50. There are 18 BGS 9.5s. I guess gem graded copies may not be listed for sale all that often.

Not often. I love the look of the card myself. Which is why I bought the gold non auto version. Also not up for sale too often.
