Thanks for the nice comments. I tried selling this card with the grading about 5 years ago for $300 on ebay and nobody hit BIN. Glad it never sold and is part of my collection now.

Maybe it's just me, but I would hold onto that Prizm over the rookie chrome ref.

All those options sound awesome haha.

Personally, I'd rather have the TC ref rookie. If not that, I'd prefer an on-card rookie auto with a high grade and bold auto that won't likely fade over time.

Value-wise, I'm not sure which will be the winner in the long-run. People are absolutely high on first-year Prizm cards too and I can't imagine there being many silver prizm Curry PSA 10s out there.

Keep me posted on what you do. And if you're looking for the latter, let me know which way you go and I can pass information to you when I come across them.

I am leaning on holding the 2012 silver long term but I do miss having a Classics, Crown or Exquisite rookie auto. Everything is so expensive now so can't really afford to keep everything.

A recent pick-up from a great member on here. I love these Platinum Essentials. After Galactics, these are my favorite Panini cards. The B/W photo paired with the very unique action shots across the set make for a special presentation. I'm not sure of the print run, but as a case hit they seem to be a shade more rare than Galactics -- my best guess is ~/8-10.

That essentials is freaking incredible, congrats on the pickup! Love the coloration of the foil and the way the light reflects.

Ohhhh yeah baby!!! Congrats and dammn I'm jealous. Lost out on the raw one and it just kills me that I don't have a Curry when I love the set and have a frickin LeBron but no Curry. Shame shame shame!

Brand new forum member here who like others, collected as a teen back in the 90s but just rediscovered the hobby in the past few months and wants to get back in it only for Curry who is my favorite athlete of all time. Nothing to show off yet since I'm just getting started but figure this is the best thread to get help on that start! I've got saved searches on eBay for cards I'm targeting and checking COMC daily but curious if there are any other FB groups or other outlets dedicated to folks selling Curry cards so my search can stay focused. Also, if there's anyone here looking to sell some stuff, feel free to DM me and we can talk, thanks!

welcome fellow curry collector! Get that $$ ready because Curry will hurt the wallet. You can get lower end sticker autos probably for $300-$400ish range and on card will trend about $600-$800? Higher end you're looking at $800+ and rookies autos will be the priciest of them all. Not sure your range, but after he dropped 62 very nice looking autos were listed.

Those are great cards. I absolutely love Topps Golds and Curry. These are my two. I subbed the 9 myself years ago. Bought the 8 already graded recently just to have another one.

Welcome back to the hobby. Panini gets its fair share of criticism, but they honestly have done a pretty good job in recent years of making some pretty nice looking insert cards. Off the top of my head, the Color Blast, Kaboom and Downtown series are some of the more popular and attractive inserts. The Color Blast in particular would fall into the more scarce and expensive category. Some of the more common and more economical (but still visually appealing and popular) inserts would include: High Voltage, Net Marvels and Crunch Time.

Curry is my favorite player, but I regrettably don't have as many of his cards as I should. Here are some of my favorite Curry inserts I still do have.
