I opened a large amount of Celebrations at release. I sold all of the cards that were selling high at the time but I thought there were many other cards that were selling way to low for what they were so I filled a 300 count box with Holos and Rares and forgot about it. I was just reorganizing my top storage shelf and found the box all the way in the back. Here is a snippet of what is in there…

…man I wish PSA wasn’t taking 3-4 months to grade and return. Is the anything here that y’all would send on a faster service? Anything over bulk price scares me with gem rates what they are these days.

Not sure who is telling you that or if you experienced that long but my TCG Bulk orders have only been taking a little over a month at most 2 months for this entire year.

My last two orders were received on July 28th and I got them back by September 4th and that is with PSA doing that crappy We'll Buy Your Cards offer that delays them another 3-4 days from shipping.

The Gem Rates are pretty bad though of late especially after the centering scale changes which I do happen to agree with but have noticed an uptick in 9s due to it.

Celebrations is going to be pumped for some time into the 30th set. But, the biggest issue I see now is wax prices are getting so out of control that like the Sports Card market I think it will start to effect the singles market.

Alot of those in a 10 are worth sending in bulk.

The three Umbreon's might be worth a little faster service.

Thanks. I haven’t actually sent a tcg order in over a year. I was going off the timeline that my sports submissions have taken lately. It’s good to know they are finishing faster even though gem rates have fallen. I’ll wait a week to see if 10/10 day offers any special pricing, then start sending 10-20 at a time. They aren’t all worth sending obviously and the photo doesn’t show everything I have.

The difference between 9’s and 10’s on some of these is truly fascinating!

I have been sending in my TCG through Gamestop. It's about a 6 week turnaround. Also, my gem rate has been about 80%. But I go through all my cards with a centering tool and a loupe. I just dropped off another batch yesterday. I am actually trying to get through all of my Celebrations to take an order of those to GS. I am finding that centering is the big issue in the stack I have. I must have submitted all my well centered cards already as I pulled a bunch of 10's on the ones I have submitted already.

Going back to the beginning of this thread, seeing people pass on what are now 4 figure cards shows how Pokemon has grown and become a collectible monster.

Go back to page 20. Someone said they would not be paying $250 for a box. Fast forward to today! That is a good price on hot sets.

Wow an 80% gem rate is crazy... that's impressive

My gem rate is probably under 50%... in my defense though I don't use a centering tool... I also send stuff that I know won't get a 10 but I just want a graded copy of the card in my binders...

I think if I were to be a little more selective I could get over a 50% gem rate... I don't mind 9s though because I feel like in 10 years or so I'd rather have a 9 over the card raw

I have some cards that I know won't gem (or could be a toss-up) but like the idea of encapsulating cards too (to preserve overall condition, even if it's clearly just an 8-9).
