I have finalized my weekly rosters on draft kings. Now I need your help. Who doesn't like these guys? Please talk me out of any of them. These are my Week 8 All In plays on DK. All in plays are in more then 75% of my lineups

Steve Smith Sr. $5600 - Going against the 4th best defense against WR's but that ranking is not accurate. That 4th rank I believe will shy people away from him this week. Smith had a great game last time they played going for 118 and a TD. 2 out of the 3 most recent games the Bengals have given up 100 + 1 TD to receiver. To win this week against the desperate Bengals I believe that they will have to throw the ball to Smith. Averaging 19.6 per game to get 4x his 5500 salary he will need to score only 2.8 more points then his average.

Cowboys Defense $3000 - 9 teams with the Cowboys Defense. The Redskins are the 25th ranked offense, 7th best matchup. Dallas is rolling and at home Monday night. Could be going up against Colt McCoy who will make some mistakes. I think its a great home match up for the price

Doug Baldwin $4700 - On 10 teams. Seahawks are reeling and who actually thinks they will lose three in a row? Stepped in as the #1 WR last week and had 7 catches for 120 yards and a score. Good for 28.3 points. At $4700 all he needs to get 4 times salary is 18.8 points. Carolina is 28th ranked against teams receivers. Matchup, opportunity, and price all aligned with Baldwin. What am I missing?

Jordan Reed $4000 - ALL 11 TEAMS. ALL IN PLAY OF THE WEEK! So where do I start? The Cowboys can't cover TE's at all, 2nd worst in the league against them. At $4000 he only has to have 16 points to hit the 4x mark. I am convinced he will be getting a lions share this week, I expect the Redskins defense to not be able to handle Murray or Dez and have to throw the ball to try and stay in the game. Match up, Cheap price, and opportunity spells value to me.

So who do you like or don't like?

came in 9.4k in the millionaire maker and won some of the late night nfl ones, even with some really bad players. spent 34 won 64

yeah, i agree that jordan reed should a lot of targets from a weak throwing qb. i penciled him in when i saw mccoy was going to start. i think i may give bryce brown a try too.

In that case Charlie the second one is easy, go with Jordy Nelson. The TE question takes more thought. if you look at the matchups Antonio Gates has the better match up then JT. The Chargers are the best at stopping TE's for the other team. Broncos are middle of the road doing that. Numbers are fairly even on DK, your guys are both in line with projections and personally don't think either will make 4 times salary but there is a slight edge .02 for JT having the better day. Thing about JT is that he is completely TD dependent and for that reason I would go with Gates plus Gates has been much better as of late then JT

I agree my dude. That is what I had. You play draft kings like a football analyst. I play Draft kings like a statistician lol. Every week I try to build the team with the highest average points possible lol. You look at match ups, I do to a point but focus more on their production, except defenses. Defenses are all match-ups. But I do have a sleeper this week that I think will be owned in about 2% of leagues and took over the starting WR2 job last week. Hint his last name is Bryant and he is 3,000 on DK.

only play i dont really care for is Smith..

Bengals just got thrashed by the Colts..will be playing at home and looking to rebound and come out strong

Flacco fell back to earth and didnt really do much against a weak Falcons D while throwing 2 picks..

i actually have the rest of your picks sprinkled over the top of a Bills stack (Orton/Watkins/Bryce Brown)

Hey I have a 3,000 Wide Receiver on DK as well, but it's not Bryant.

My first week on there and I really like the flex spot better than Kicker.

I am very surprised how easy it is to build a solid squad on DK!

The idea of going with them is outside the box usually I like to either fade or limit my exposure to these Thursday night games. This week I'm going with a formula and leaving my gut out of it.

Saw someone else talk about mistakes this weekend. My biggest one was not going All In with Golden Tate. I originally went All In with him and then heard about the Marshall plan with him playing his former team and switched them out. Stupid stupid move on my part. Plan now that unless injuries occur that when I do my DD that I'm sticking with the plan do or die. No more second guessing. No more late swaps. If I want to do that I'm going to enter into a new contest just to do it.

With that said I did go All In this weekend with Bell. When I play these games I'm hitting over 10 contests per weekend. Figure that's the best way to get the variance out of it. More exposure then 75% of my teams means ALL IN for me. In my 12 lineups this weekend I have every single team playing Le'veon Bell tonight. 12/12 lineups are playing Bell.

I think you read me wrong with my last post. I targeted Thursday starting games with those two RB's and was already onto the next weeks lineups. I currently have only one game between Monday-Thursday and the lineup includes Bell there too.

Here's why I went ALL IN with him tonight

1. Steelers 15-0 in MNF games in the last 15 tries.

2. Steelers at home

3. Texans weak against the rusher, good matchup

4. Bell has 100 yards from scrimmage in every game this year he's played

5. His involvement in the passing game is a plus for DK with full ppr point

6. His price was extremely attractive. $6,600 for him this week. It's an automatic when he is that low. His one fault is that he has only scored 1 TD this year. He has the 10th highest Red Zone team involvement for any RB in the league. I bet that he hits pay dirt tonight.

Bell was an ALL IN move for me this week. Some of my teams are just outside the money right now. A good game with Bell and I will cash in a bunch of them.

Last night I put this lineup together in a 50 man tournement where I am currently in 5th place for a seat in the 2.2 million dollar tournament. I played for $2. I have 3 Steelers going tonight and currently the most players playing tonight out of teams 1-4.

QB Peyton Manning 31.62 lock
RB Le'Veon Bell 0 swap out
RB Ronnie Hillman 26.3 lock
WR Anquan Boldin 12 lock
WR Demaryius Thomas 40.1 lock
WR Wes Welker 14 lock
TE Julius Thomas 6.7 lock
FLEX Markus Wheaton 0 swap out
DST Steelers 0

TOTAL FANTASY POINTS: 130.72

Wheaton was cheap and could blow the roof off the Texans tonight not that I am expecting that but it could happen. I like the Texans Defense sacking ability more but I like home teams in close games and the Steelers are a lock to me. And of course there is Bell. Thank you for wishing me luck, I need it

Price for Foster on the road was 1800 more then Bell. I like Bell to hit his expectation more so then I think Foster will, nothing against Foster but at 8800 your looking at needing a monster game for him to hit that. Not that he can't, he can of course, but I doubt it.

For Bell to hit expectation of 26.4 or 4x his salary he needs to get 100 rushing yards (10 points plus 3 bonus), score 1 TD (6 points) and catch 7 passes. Passing yards not considered but obviously that would decrease his number of catches needed. He has 4, 5, and 6 catches his last three games. If he scores he hits that projection.

For Foster to hit his expectation of 35.2 to get 4x his salary well you do the math. To me it was a no brainer, you have to go with Bell over Foster given the salary and expectation.
Props to this man for getting it right. Well done

It could have been better if Wheaton hadn't crapped the bed and not gotten me a zero but Bell pushed me into the money so can't complain. Lost that tournement because of wheaton but other games were good.

Thanks for the props appreciate that

Dk Carden, Allen , White (ark st.) , Ford, Dorsett and I Jones. Seems like VT is strong against the run which is why I skipped on Duke from Miami

I didn't care much for the Tues/Thurs matchups this week. I am pretty geeked about the Thurs/Fri games. That said, I'm using this lineup in a couple tonight:
Carden
Gordon
Allen
Jones
Phillips
Worthy
Griswold

I'm guessing since we find similar matchups you're targeting Andre Davis on FD for the thurs/fri games? He's criminally underpriced IMO...

Wheaton hosed me too. Probably needed to do more research to find out Bryant was earning more snaps. Sucks, but that's what happens when your homework is complete...

I know this is football, but I hate that they don't tell you that a starting Goalie for hockey is not playing and you waste a spot on them. It really pisses me off

The only place I know of, which I am hoping someone reading this can correct me, but the only place I know of that shows snap counts is profootball focus. Is there a free site with that information? Sorry he got you too
