I got my 4 Topps Chrome Lite boxes in the mail today, with 2 more on the way. Opened the first 2 - Judge b/w, Wander Prizm, and 2 minor star (regular) parallels.

I’m not sure if I should rip the other 2 that I have in-hand, or if it’ll be more of the same…. should I be a guinea pig for everyone?

Don't worry, I won't bring up BB21.

2) What do you care for more? Ripping for fun or ripping to recoup value? If the latter, although statistically possible, it's usually unlikely. One advantage that you have is that you've already received your boxes (whereas most haven't) so you'd get some premium by being first to list cards on eBay (should you want to offload some singles).

Opened 4 LITE boxes (bought from Topps online @$100 each)- I’ll let you all decide how it was:

Autos- 0
SPs-0
Color Parallels- Devers aqua wave /199, Lindor green wave /99, Kyle Lewis purple /250, Soler purple mini diamond /299, Tapia b/w negative

B/W mini-diamond refractor (16)- notables: Wander, Judge, Betts, Bichette, Nootbaar
Prizm refractor (11)- notables: Wander
Refractor (20)- notables: Judge, Soto, Arenado

Inserts per box seem to fall: 1987 Topps (4), New Classics (4), Heart of the City (1), Plaques (1), Future Stars (1)

The rest base Topps Chrome- best ones were Cruz, Duran (2), Judge (2), Ohtani, Acuna

actually it looks like the pack odds for “Base Card Image Variation” (which I assume is what we’re calling the Julio/Witt/Tork refractors) are 1:528 packs, or 1 per 33 boxes.

If someone needs me to post the LITE box odds, let me know

Base image variations are different. Not the same as ESP.

They're in the Lite boxes. Hunter Greene ESP was pulled from a Lite box break on YouTube yesterday.

I don't think the EPSs are Base Image Var. (1:528)

I think they're the Base Super Short Prints (1:17,677)

Most likely neither and without listed odds. Same as logofractor packs, just need to see higher volume lite box breaks to estimate odds.
