It's not as 'classic' as the base Prizm, but I do like that it's an action shot. It's the biggest thing that Mosaic and Select have over Optic, IMO.

To think I passed on all of his cards during his rookie year when I should have been stockpiling them. I really wanted one of those Optic black velocities forever and never pulled the trigger. I remember looking at them quite often and they were around $800-1200 depending on the grade and company that graded them.

Anyways im pretty excited basketball is coming back. Luka and company were hot out of the gate to start the season. They were in second and third place for a little while. It's sad they lost Powell but what can you do?

Im excited to watch some playoff basketball and see what the Mavs can put together in the off season. I'd like to see a trade happen with Boston. Boston still has a lot of young players with nowhere for them to play and even some decent draft picks left. I think they could steal Carsen Edwards from them for almost nothing. He would make a good shooting guard for the Mavs and be a good scorer off the bench. He made 8 3's in 5 minutes in a preseason game. He's undersized but he's a shooter and a walking bucket. I think he would work well with Luka. Especially if they could get him for peanuts.

The one that was up for $2000obo sold for $1300 today, that’s the highest I’ve seen.

I remember buying mine for $500ish last year and then they went back down to like $400... thought maybe I top ticked it with my purchase, but if it’s a low print run then I guess just hold onto em is the moral here (for now at least).

Funny story how I got these.... I picked up just a few back in Jan/Feb when they were around $200 ea. I early March I posted something on Instagram about it and a few days later they shot up. Then the league shut down, they swung back down , and I picked up as many as I could from people panic selling. They seem to be back up now that 2019 Mosaic is out and is a hit.

I picked this one up yesterday while i was searching for one of those Jokerdekki cards. Don't really know a whole lot about it besides it's a European only Luka RC made by Panini. I thought it was kind of unique looking so i bought it.

Luka is definitely on fire. I have been scouring for good buys and they are getting very rare. I picked up a 2018-19 Chinese New Year Revolution Auto /77 the other day for a great BIN deal ($400).

I don’t usually care much for sticker autos, but couldn’t pass it up given the price and it being his rookie year. I mean, look at Giannis rookie sticker autos $$$, can’t be that bad!

Does anyone know how the Panini autograph contracts are structured with players?

I'm guessing Panini has a standard initial contract with most players (like a rookie deal that lasts 4-5 years). That gives Panini autograph rights on the cheap for a little while. Then maybe they have to renegotiate and pay more if that player becomes more popular.

Maybe Luka only signed for 1 year because he didn't need the extra income since he's been playing professionally for awhile.

Either way, if it's true he's not signing anymore, that's huge for his current autos.

That’s a great deal. I know it’s a sticker but it’s #’d and a tough pull. I want to say that’s the same price as it was back in December, so while everything else has seemingly tripled in price you bought in at yesteryear prices, good job!

Thanks man! Every once and a while something great shows up on an EBay saved search and I can’t hit “Buy it Now” fast enough. First time I’ve been that lucky with Luka though.

I bought some PSA 10 sensational sigs for around $250 back in early fall. Sold them and got back around $500 each. Was pretty proud of myself. Now they're close to $1K. Also sold a Luka Fast Break auto way too early considering one just sold for $1700. Lesson learned, don't sell your Lukas unless you have to.

I thought the Optic black 1/1 had been pulled but maybe not. It's hard to keep track of these things. I just want to see the Prizm 1/1 if someone has it. That's got to be right up there or close with the NT 1/1 pricewise I bet. It would sell for an astronomical amount in todays market. Retirement money.

Once the Zion NT's start selling for crazy amounts Luka's stuff is gonna get another bump I think. Wish I had an NT Luka /99 I should have bought one before they got out of reach.
