Got these back from a Jewcer sub today. Did the worst on Luka out of everyone I subbed. On the bright side, I have about 75 more numbered Chronicles to submit this week.
Edit - just saw the 71 Blue is a pop 2. That takes a little of the sting out of it.

All #d Chronicles are awesome - especially in the chrome and foils. Seems like PSA is getting tougher at handing out those 10s now.

i still have a complete set of 2018-19 Prizm (thank god, especially after selling off 3 other base Luka's for $20 a pop sometime last year)

but i think its time i send the Trae and Luka off to PSA, especially seeing PSA 10 base going for $700 now

Was definitely disappointed with the three 9's on the Optichrome. Went over those with a loupe and still not sure what's wrong with them.

Nah. I know a lot of people would crack and resub to PSA but I'll probably just leave them how they are. Definitely frustrating though because these are the easiest cards to detect flaws and there is literally nothing wrong with them.

I feel your pain, I'm sitting on about 15 PSA 9 Luka Optic RC's from my sub of 70 RC's that should be PSA 10 after further review. I will most likely crack and resubmit in my next batch of cards I send off.

Exactly, hate the subjectivity by graders. You get the wrong one and all the grades are under appreciated. Still a very beautiful stash of Lukas!

2 eBay pickups (cosmic, crusade) and a trade (cubic) from last week!

9.5s seem to be a great buy right now with all the new peeps only excited about PSA 10s. Psst they are both "GEM MINT"...

What are the groups thoughts on grading lower end Luka cards? I have a lot of his chronicles cards that I don't really plan on selling in the near future. Does it make sense to grade the good ones now while they are cheap? Or do I make sure he pans out first before spending the money to grade? I realize that if I wait the cards might be worth more and I might have to pay more for grading services. But, I'd also hate for him to be a bust and spend money grading. I've got like 100 (no idea how many are gradeable).

The only way Luka doesn’t pan out is if he gets hurt. He is still very young, already one of the most complete players in the game, and has the hype to fuel hobby mania. His stat lines, like Giannis, are insane almost every game. Dude grabs boards and dishes in addition to scoring. His cards are definitely starting to get the attention they deserve and this probably won’t slow down any time soon. I think money in Luka, Giannis, Tatum, and right now Zion is money well spent (and LeBron as always ). My dark horse is Lillard, very undervalued and seems to improve every year.

I think almost any Luka RC base or parallel is worth grading if you are fairly certain it’s coming back a 10.

Terrific pickups there, I'll say right now that my Luka's and Zion's in 9.5s are every bit as sharp (and in many cases sharper) as the PSA 10 versions.
