I really believe we will get select retail this year. The start of it was with baseball and even that non-licensed crap flew off the shelf. It’s a clear third behind Prizm/optic. Basketball and football are coming.

Honestly it seems that Mosaic base is worthless, yeah your Zion is great but the rest of the prices of base cards is trash - the silvers still seem super strong.

Got lucky and found 2 multipacks while out shopping.
First pack I pulled a pink Lebron which had paid off everything.
Second pack I pulled a genesis Bazley. Had to message my friend to double check haha.

That’s the market value, what are you trying to do with it? If your goal is to flip it then no you probably aren’t going to make money off it. If you want to rip it then yes, that’s the market value.

My LCS if you can call it that has no problem getting 65 per cello which makes 250 for mega look great. Just depends on if there's a better deal out there. Last few ebay BINs were just under 300.

What is the potential upside of Megas? Could they realistically reach 5-600 at some point?

I said it when megas were around $300. SELL THEM.

Can they get to $500-600? I guess, but it would take a lot. Prizm megas are there, and prizm base/silver get, what, 3-4x the price compared to Mosaic base/silver?

I guess the question is whether there will be a “first year premium” for 19-20 Mosaic just like there is for 12-13 Prizm.

Interesting point!

Mosaic would have to become one of the top sets in the hobby, but its not, maybe in the future?

I still think this stuff eventually sits at around 75-80% of Prizm....which is damn good if you ask me.

Initially, I was thinking this exactly and bullish about it, but more recently I think it might be lower maybe closer to like 60-70% of Prizm.
Only time will tell to see how much people enjoy or love this product.

Mosaic, from a design perspective, is the best product out currently. Its the cleanest aesthetic and it looks like what a basketball card product should look like in 2020.

Idk if it will ever catch Prizm from a popularity/value standpoint, but I personally think it stands out when looking at each product side by side.

I picked up 3 Mosaic Reactive blue Mega Boxes in May when I was picking up some Bowman baseball. The local Rep was setting them all out when I was there. I would like to sell the 3 Mosaic Mega Boxes, but all 3 have dents down the center of the boxes, & 2 have pinched & broken plastic seals on one side of the box. Am I just resigned to opening those two? I mostly only do Prizm b-ball the last 3 years & aside from 18-19 not that interested in opening non prizm.

Just an FYI that caught me completely by surprise: Duncan Robinson has his “rookie” card in this the doesn’t have the RC designation. #170. It’s his 2nd year but he only had a couple autos last year I believe. Surprised to see base reaching $10, prizm color at $25, and true silver at $60. Makes me wonder what other 2nd year rookies I have laying around.
