Well that's a good point.

The problem is that North Florida basically makes the rules for SoFla. We do our best to ignore that nonsense, but it's a hassle. Nobody down here gives a crap what Tallahassee has to say. They're not our people. And they take more money from us than they give back.

This stuff is common I suppose. Phoenix runs AZ, Chi-town runs Illinois, but the difference here is stunning. East Texas and West Texas are pretty different, but still not as much as Florida and SoFla. It's night and day. We're about as similar as London and Tibet.

It's nice that those folks live up north all in a bundle, but it would be even more nice if we didn't constantly have to tell them to shut up and leave us alone.

Yes it's sad, sickening and disappointing. The most interesting thing about it is watching each side accuse the other of behaving bad/crazy not realizing they're doing, or have done, the exact same things they're bitching about the other side of doing.
Being a sports card message board the best analogy is being excited because the Jets beat the Cowboys.
Not that I'm completely innocent by any means as I've added my share of digs in this fiasco of a thread, but I've accepted the fact that the election is over and the candidate I voted for lost.
I have enjoyed watching the hypocrisy coming from both the lefties and the righties though.

The problem is you have a thread that shouldn’t even be on a sportscards site and then you have moderators who bury their heads in the sand and let this dumpster fire of a thread go on much longer than it ever should have. I very seldom post in this thread but I have read it daily, certain posters would have and should have been banned a long time ago but I guess the mods feel any attention brought to the site is a good thing.

Hoping you guys can help me out with the following situation

As a couple of you might know, I hang pretty left by American standards and extremely left by men collecting pictures of other men standards. However I’m also a fairly nihilistic guy in spots and thought with absolute certainty that Trump was going to win the election

I made a wager that Trump would win the election. If he does not win the election, I must dress up like Donald Trump, with banana peels for hair and orange children’s magic marker for skin toner. Once in costume I must consume meat (have not eaten meat since 2009). The specific meat in question that must be consumed to satisfy this wager is a Subway meatball sandwich, if possible with the bread sporting a “U” cut, popular with the Subway brand in the 90s and early aughts before they started cutting the bread straight across.

My question for you all is, what with the many gradients of this election, at one point should I settle this wager? How much faith should I putting behind my guy chezball that I’m going to get out of this? Like is there any possibility at all for a last second chezball back door cover? Really trying to avoid doing all this and then Trump is still president.
