That is a very cool card indeed, and like you said - a set rarely seen! I especially like how his foot made it outside of the main card design for a personalized die-cut experience. I haven't seen very many of them, so took a quick jaunt over to COMC to see what I could see there. It looks like they've never seen a single Mailman over there! https://www.comc.com/Cards,sr,=hoops...+twine,ot,i100

Now for my share of the day. This card lands where a handful of the rarer late 90s Upper Deck issues land for me. A solid enough looking card/set, but one where the distinctions between the base-level card and the rarer parallels are less than epic. Still, cards from the 1998-99 Upper Deck Intensity Gold are not seen everyday:

Yeah, the low #d UD cards like Intensity, Aerodynamics, Super Powers etc rarely pop up and are extremely hard to get, congratz for this beauty

thx a lot for sharing your Mighty Mouse PT never saw one before. I personally owned also the Pippen from this set but traded it years ago. Very beautiful and rare set imo.

Beautiful card, my friend!!! I love this insert, probably one of the nicest insert sets from that era.

I also have a PSA 9 of each of them without the peel. I prefer the peel on and only have copies without because of PSA's set registry.

I still need to add his Finest RC refractor. That card is so iconic to me, more than the Kobe Chrome.

I think UD stuff gets overlooked all the time, unfortunately. I always thought UD did some incredible things with simplistic design and this card is an example of such. I don't know why they appeal to me so much, but what they do with colors on top of their designs is just magical.

Here's another great sample of very simple design with outstanding results, which is also a rare example of superb photography on a Shawn Kemp card.

Sneaky-tough at 1:370. Kind of a shame the Gold Medallions were negligibly different than the standard. That's the same old sad story of countless 90s parallels.

One of the best insert sets out of the 90s. I'm biased though because of the timing these were released, me and ALL my friends were collecting back then. This is when the inserts REALLY and truly started to take off in my opinion, before the serial numbering stuff.

I remember seeing previews for the 95/96 Ultra product in Beckett and they had the Grant Hill card in the promos and being mesmerized by it.

Thanks for posting this dude, what a friggin' card, what a trip down memory lane.

Aw hell yea. 95-96 was a critical design year for many reasons. At the same time, that might have been the weakest year of Ultra imo, with this set being the one real standout. I also remember how often the Hill was used in promo ads, m u c h i c o n i c.

That Kemp Profiles 3 card is amazing, and easily one of my favorites of his in a Cavs uni. The actions shots captured on both sides of the card are great, and especially in their holofoil glory, I'm sure!

Very nice card, and one that I hadn't seen. It seems like almost all of the inserts from that year's Ultra were either available in Gold Medallion (rarer than the normal version), or Hot Pack (more common than normal version). The only insert of David Robinson's that was only available one way was his USA Basketball insert.

Now for today's share, an early game film rarity from Stadium Club:

I'm going to do all 3 rows from 96-97 at one time. They look best when all together. all /150 of course.

Tremendous card! Love those cards & loved all the parallels in that series, to me its the 2000's where the parallel's went to far.

How do you guys post such superb large photo's - do you need to post them via another application? All I can muster is those horrid jpeg images where you have to click on them so you can see...

Not a card (sorry), but still a cool relic from the most important basketball game of the 1990s (IMO) and MJ’s last ever as a member of the Chicago Bulls.

Nice card! I actually pulled the Steve Francis # 001/250 from a pack at my LCS when the product came out. He was all the hype at the time and I sold it to someone there that day. I think I got like $40.....which I immediately spent on more packs
