Only took him this high because of the position he plays. If he's anywhere near as good as they think he'll be I'll be doing just fine for a few years. Unfortunately the SS position has gone way downhill the last few years.

In other news, I just wrote a program that sorts the draft list by team. So, we don't have to rely on Gum to do it. Wasn't really necessary for me to do it, but it was fun and fairly easy!

I believe SS is probably the worst position player-wise. The only shortstops drafted so far that deserve to be taken this early are Desmond, Tulo, and Jose Reyes.

As for the other shortstops, Starlin Castro may fit in the list, but he is an up and down player that alternates each year.

Andrus and Simmons (who I took) are decent players that have better gloves than bats and hitting is more valued than defense in fantasy drafts.

It's too early for Correa and Bogaerts had a terrible first year though he may bounce back this year.
