Looks like the Holo Soto Select sold in just a couple minutes last night on ebay.

If someone else is interested there is also one listed on Amazon right now for $90 I believe. Most of the time cards on Amazon are way overpriced but occasionally you can find a decent deal there. Happy holidays everyone!

I couldn't resist though, I love this card. Shiny? Check. Gold-ish? Check. On-card auto? Check. Low serial-number to /10? Check. Absolutely dirt cheap? Check.

Haha I was watching that. Sold last week correct? I have the Orange /35 PSA 10, Green Sparkle /15, Black Sparkle /50 PSA 10 and Green /99 PSA 10. All had for under $100 each. I like undies Arthur!!!!

Yup, that's the one. I'll definitely make a run at the other colors if I can find them proportionately priced. I like the old school Leaf designs that they incorporate, as well. I mean, it's not like these prices are going to go down or I'm going to lose my shirt. The cards are dirt cheap. It's just funny money.

Question for the assembled wisdom of the group here.

How much money did I throw away here?

In 2018, I went to the Hagerstown Suns meet the team. Soto was there, but apparently not giving his good signature, and did not seem to enjoy signing autographs for adults. No biggie, I get it. But, I had a nice 2017 Heritage minors /25 and got this

In black and running off of the card. Fortunately I have some nice signed Soto items, and (what I think of) as a nice card collection as well. Now, I paid $4.25 for this back in November 2017. But I have to imagine storing it, grading it, and keeping it clean would’ve been the better move, financially. Any thoughts from our resident Soto experts?

Also in looking through my old Soto related message, maybe I should’ve just hit the BIN on this one lol

Still a nice card knowing he signed it in person. I personally would just get it encased authentic and leave it. That’s just me.

Secondly. I would of low balled him too back then because Im a cheap bastard sometimes and have lost out on some good deals.

I don't even think it was a low-ball. I won the Gray /25 for $4.25 that same week. $4.25 for a /25, I don't see $45 for a 1/1 to be unreasonable. Or rather, it is closer to reasonable that $150 is.

But yeah, I'm doing an old gmail search for "Juan Soto declined" and whoooo boy lol.

Does anyone else think this recent demand spike on 2018 Prizm Soto product will make its way to any of the other rookies? Crazy how many studs were also in that 18 Prizm set

Heck, even Alex Verdugo and Miguel Andujar aren’t bad pulls

Those guys don't even get much action with their really good Topps stuff. No reason to believe their pajamas are going to get hot.

Can’t rule Gleyber out. But I wouldn’t exactly bet the farm on Devers, Albies, Ohtani, or anyone else. Even if Flaherty wins a couple Cy Youngs, it’s hard to see his Panini stuff catching fire.
