Not to sound like jerk, but thats really not that much to have a shiny encounter.

They are approx 1:300 I believe per mon. Sometimes you will break those odds, sometimes you can go forever without one. I had a friend was narrowly missed having 2000 Karp encounters without a shiny, but got it on like 1986 or something like that.

I honestly checked near 600 Grimers alone during the last event and didn't come up with one, but somehow managed to get 2 Drifloom in less than 3 hours just the other day. You need to take the good with the bad

I think I checked 850 Luvdisc before I got a shiny. That was the worst lol.

I nabbed this dude last night, the only shiny I really wanted

His stats are poor (39%) but he is my new favorite Pokemon!

I was really excited when I hatched this little guy this morning, he is 82%

Not even lying. I know me and my gf have been playing maniacally, but the amount of stuff I have is insane. I'll be level 34 by the time I'm 3 months in.

1 Pikachu (event) in 357 appearances. Hard call on this one as it was early in the hat event prior to the witch hat. Definitely less than 100.

1 Moltres in 13 appearances.

10 Chikorita in 232 appearances. Yep, chiki day.

finally got a poochyena shiny. Also got a Drifloon shiny.
I like to have a form of all shinies. I typically won't evolve a form unless i get multiple of the base forms. I think i've been decently fortunate with my catches, but still would like to complete the shiny dex one day, but probably won't as they add more every few weeks.

Finally caught a shiny houndour yesterday. Glad to cross it off my list. Never did get the shiny witch hat pichu or pikachu but ill be looking for pinsir and caterpie!

I also got a Shedinja. What's the deal with this one? It has terrible HP & CP. Is it a gimmicky Pokemon or something?

Finally hatched a shiny lil' Wynaut this morning while walking across campus. It's been a while since I've snagged something that felt truly rare in the game.

Now to get our Duo teams ready for Gengar Day tomorrow.
