Am I wrong, isn’t a six figure card? Also was this card ever at 10k? I immediately seen these cards at 50k. This hobby knew these cards are the prized grails so I don’t think they were even at 10k

I think a good percentage of them were pulled in case breaks. Whether the person that won them in the breaks kept them or resold them is another story. But it was possible to do random team/serial numbers in breaks and hit one for a reasonable price.

Just because you see a crazy price tag of $777K on ebay doesn't meant that's what those are worth now. They're worth a lot but not anywhere near that imo. The Zion stuff added fuel to the fire but the last sale was $44K or $60K for /20. The fact is we don't have any recent reliable comps. No one is selling them. They're basically just showing them off.

True, I know who owns the other PSA 10, he’s asking around 140-150...before the zion spike.

The last 3 bgs 9.5 sales for Luka NT /99 were $72.3k (base 9.5 on goldin) and 2 at 80k each thru royalflush on IG.

I offered $130K through pwcc for the other PSA 10 and the seller turned it down. He wont sell under $175K.

A LeBron PSA 10 03 exquisite would be $1M+.

Theres a reason Mahomes NT PSA 10 sells for 70% more than a 9.5.

PSA 10 in NT and older Exquisite are extremely rare and the fact PSA just significantly raised all their prices for grading modern means there will likely be fewer in the future

Also, there are 10 PSA 10 Mahomes NT rookies and 20 BGS 9.5’s. Much diff ratio.

What or who is royalflush on IG? I would like to see those sales. Not many bigger Luka fans than me but i think we need to pump the brakes a little bit before comparing them to LeBron Exquisite RC's right now. Maybe in 10-15 years.

So it's a person. I thought maybe it was some auction house or something. I believe the $80K sales are likely because of the Houdini Zion sale. But i don't think there are any sales over the $100K yet. If there are post them here id like to follow them or at least know about them.

Didn’t someone sell the 77/99 NT Luka for over $100k? It was on eBay but he’s also a member here because I remember him confirming it was paid for, but I forget what the amount was it sold for, just remember it was a lot!!

Lot of chronicles and grade worthy for sure. PSA is very tough on paper btw

I’m a big fan of chronicles. Was fun to rip and you can still get Lukas in the $10-20 range. And I meant these are all the ones with corner dings that won’t grade well.

There was a private sale at 100k cash + trade recently. Ive also been offered $100k+ on my rpa but Im not selling for 10+ years.

I realize By it Now option on eBay is totally different that the actual price sold. My point I guess is, like Zion his National Treasures even from the fresh pulled pack will never see a 8k price tag. It’s just amazing people have the deep pockets to even drop 25 k on a card. Just curious if most these people do trade plus cash or the have the funds to buy cards at this $! And I’m not talking about the maybe handful of people who are wealthy but I see a lot of people here have these non attainable cards and just curious. I’m glad they share them here in the forum

Still own my 18-19 Optic Purple Retail Autograph RC They are rarely seen so I'm hoping Luka has playoff success.

I think most very high end cards are cash + trade deals. For tax purposes, definitely the better route to go. Imagine being able to trade a stock of company A for company B and not having to pay any taxes.
