Exactly what I believe. Lonzo seems to be his best when the team doesn’t stop. They seem to really struggle when they play a slow half court game and Lonzo just disappears.

We see that spark in him once every blue moon like Wiggins.

Fortunately for them the Clippers, Timberwolves, and Kings don't seem to want to pull away for that 8th spot. They're going to need to at least win a few before Bron gets back.

I keep telling people . . . Ingram is a low BBIQ player. He has great talent, but talent alone doesn't make you good. He's just dumb. It's not a youth thing, his awareness is just complete crap.

I tried to fight it and see the best in him. But I'm starting to come to the same realization. He not only lacks basketball IQ, but also the hunger. He doesn't have that killer instinct, at all.

Lonzo's out 4-6 weeks. Might have to give Kendall Marshall a call at this point.

I’ve been off of the Brandon Ingram hype train for awhile. The guy is supposedly a “scorer” and has literally scored 26 points or more once or twice (can’t remember which) since high school!

He just lacks the physical attributes. He is even lankier and skinner than someone like kd was when he came in, and kd couldn’t even bench 185 coming out of college.

Also the lack of catch and shoot ability kills Ingram. at times it seems his only way to score is to have the ball for 7 seconds and take 5 dribbles in an iso situation.

The KD Lite comparisons are pretty ridiculous, yeah. I mean KD has a 50-40-90 season under his belt and Ingram wouldn't even dream of coming near that shooting. He can't really finish either.

I'm not sure if he has any elite talents. Honestly whenever he has the ball I have no idea what he is gking to do. I mean I hate bashing on a player or whatever, but I am just not seeing a 1st or 2nd option on a championship contender. Heck, I am not even seeing a solid starter on a championship contender.

Can he improve and get there, or maybe even further? Sure, I suppose. But it just doesn't seem to be happening, at least from my view.

I think scouts and fans alike have become enamored with height and length. Ingram is built like a spider monkey. Has freakishly long arms and limbs just like Giannis and AD. It was the same factor that built up Thon Maker's high school hype.

But like people have mentioned, there's a fine line between being slight of build and looking like you're about to blow over just standing up.

Ingram lacks fluidity, doesn't have a great/reliable jumper, and has less strength than an undersized pg like Kemba Walker. And I'm not sure if his frame will ever fill out. KD is slim, but he's deceptively strong and has one of the best pure strokes in the game. They are completely different players.

I got blinded myself, but didn't invest more than $50 on some random low end stuff. Glad I didn't do more.

all fair assessments, but ingram is still only 21. i'm not quite ready to write him off, he at times shows flashes of dominance where he looks like the best player on the court. so does Lonzo for that matter. just going to continue to hold out hope that he puts it all together. now is as good as time as any with lonzo, rondo, and lebron out. eating a pizza once in a while wouldn't hurt though.

Haha, my favorite was when they tried to tell us how great of shooters they were, especially from 3. I tried to tell them they are one of the worst shooting teams and the team desperately needs 3pt shooters. Lebron really needs to get back if they are gonna make a playoff run.
