I can confirm for my area stores. The store that had 17 people waiting during the noon hour didn't get stocked until around 4pm, which is usually the time he stocks a different store. Sure enough, I went to that store around 3:30 and there was nobody waiting, it had been replenished with Optic, Diamond Kings, and football....but basketball and Chrome was nowhere to be seen. He flip flopped his schedule.

We never get any new basketball

Zero all year

Without question people are buying it before it goes out on floor

Yeah Prestige Megas are good. I have too many of those still sealed. Definitely done with those. Will pick up some Elite when/IF?!?! I find it.

Prestige has college unis this year, presumably since there was no rookie showcase.

I think Pen pals autos in Elite are in uni (or photoshopped), but iirc base are college still.

Something weird is happening at the Targets around me...

3 of them were restocked today and none had any sports cards AT ALL

I’m talking fully stocked to the point there was no room left for any sports cards

2/3 of them got chronicles last week

A 4th one wasn’t stocked but there was a sign implying they don’t carry sports cards anymore and don’t know when the vendor comes to stock trading cards. This one was stocked with a bunch of chrome and some prestige last week

Anybody experiencing something similar?

I noticed this about the Magic/Pokemon as well. It's crazy there was one box of magic cards they had in this special plastic device to prevent theft. Its 120 for the box. Crazy.

Can't tell what the bottom right Pokemon is. If it's Hidden Fates, it's worth buying. Yes, I had to resort to buying Pokemon. LOL

Would have loved seeing a flipper's face from afar as thinking he/she struck gold with a restock & slowly turn to horror & anger when they get closer & realize it's all Pokemon.

Hopefully your experience is just a fluky one-off, & it's not a sign of things to come.

That was another one. It said there are no sports cards and that target doesn’t know when the vendor comes to restock the trading card section. This is a target that gets a LOT of sports too

Two of my local Targets removed the sports logos above the card section, leaving just Pokemon and Magic and shrunk the space down to just fit TCG's. My closest Walmart moved all the TCG's into a smaller space and filled the rest with candy, no more room to even put sports cards.

I just stopped by and my Target is the same way, completely filled shelves, only sports cards are a few Mega boxes of Optic baseball, and those are new, they weren't there a couple of days ago.

I ran into a target while the vendor was stocking yesterday and he only put out one thing of sports cards which was a prestige blaster
