At least PSA is making an effort and trying to improve. BGS is a complete cluster. You send your cards to BGS and it’s months before they even acknowledge they have them. It’s nerve racking to have an entity not even acknowledge they have your cards. At least PSA acknowledges they have your cards even if they’re not logged for official processing. And then with BGS there is no interim update. It’s just silence until your grades pop (which for anything other than 1 or 5 day service is just as long as PSA).

PSA just needs to get Express in order. They advertise 5 business days. There's no warning flag that turnaround times are affected. I know they are slower than 5 days, but there's no reason why it should take 5 weeks and have later dated subs get finished quicker.

They are hiring, expandning and improving practices. It has gotten much better and will continue to.

Yes, so the express that is at nearly a month from logged as received has been in QA2 for a while. Just got off the phone with my rep about it, seems like it went to changes (happens often at all levels of service) and got stuck there and not returned to results (upcharge). This happens every once in a while which is one of the reasons orders get stuck in QA 2. It should be through results and completed in the next day or so. Delays suck but at least they are responsive and work to resolve them.

If anyone sees something sitting in QA 2 for 2+ weeks or something like that simply email me at josh@pcsportscards.com and tell me the submission # and I will reach out to my rep about it as soon as possible. Unfortunately we don't track dates per level (yet) because it would just slow the update process even more.

We are currently working on a full update so hopefully more moved and I know at least 2 or 3 have been completed already.

I hate to give Josh credit, because as a friend all I do is bust his stones, but A+ to him. Messed something up on a sub, messaged him and he took care of it immediately. Appreciate it man

Yes my first sub was a mess. He was patient with me also. Now I am one less submission headache. Lol

I wish I could say I am as well, but paperwork was never my strength. Josh has always been good with me and all my mess ups though.

Many of them have been received (Im guessing). Training someone and he wasn't saving the new ones in to the tracker.

Edit - 90-100 subs have actually been received but there was a miscommunication in training over here and they have not been updated. We are working to rectify this by EOD.

Can we get an update about what the rep is saying for bulk 2020.169? You mentioned above that you’ve asked your rep about this but we don’t know what information they gave back to you. I’m relatively new to grading but I believe waiting 3 months to check in is concerning. I would love to know more info if possible please. What’s the rep saying?

That they are going to put it in as soon as possible. It was probably placed on a rack for "regular" customers instead of the preferred.

15/17 PSA 10 on express 17. Would be exited if this popped two-three weeks ago but I sent too sensitive of cards and will get hit hard.

I guess I am doing something right but I question the Kobe Bryant 10. Should have got a 9. The shaq as well.... Don't think too hard about your cards, its all graders opinion at the end of the day.

What do you guys think a PSA 10 bo bichette chrome negative goes for at auction? Never had a low pop card that I wanted to auction before. I'm thinking around $400.

Thanks to Josh for pushing Express 18 through. These are all PC cards, so the grades don’t matter too much.

I think all were fair, although I am a bit pissed about the Purple Holo. Bought it as a 9, cracked it, wiped some junk off the front, and was hoping it would gem. Just surprised that it got a 9 the first time. Bron Black Knight is the only one graded. Obsidian I bought raw for $65 last year. The etching was not justified. It was an 8.5 RCR, which shows you how ridiculous BGS is. But didn’t want it in a BGS slab.

I think all were fair, although I am a bit pissed about the Purple Holo. Bought it as a 9, cracked it, wiped some junk off the front, and was hoping it would gem. Just surprised that it got a 9 the first time. Bron Black Knight is the only one graded. Obsidian I bought raw for $65 last year. The etching was not justified. It was an 8.5 RCR, which shows you how ridiculous BGS is. But didn’t want it in a BGS slab.
