Reynolds is becoming one of my favorite players. Wouldn't mind having him as a utility man for a while if he can keep playing like this.

Adam Rubin: "Yoenis Cespedes and Noah Syndergaard both were dispatched to the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan to see Dr. David Altchek."

Dicomo: "Uh oh. Noah Syndergaard's elbow flared up during the game. He's seeing a doctor now. That's why he left the game after six. #Mets"

Treating Jay Horwitz like crap after he didn't mention Syndergaard. Collins has to know that is the ONLY news fans care about.

He doesn't have any information though. He's angry himself, the entire team hurt and is he supposed to take 70 questions all asking the same thing?

Say it, get out. Flight to Atlanta and prayer that everyone is OK. I don't think this is anything ...

You don't call Horwitz a puppy dog, especially when Collins was a puppet for his first 5 seasons

Mountain out of a molehill. Collins pretty angry at the situation, didn't want to talk about it, said something he shouldn't have, but of all the things to call someone when your angry, puppy dog is at the bottom of the list in terms of awfulness. He'll apologize to Jay, and move on.

One thing I noticed, none of the actual beat is actually talking about it, out of respect for Horwitz or likely not to offend the hands that feed.

With that said, from what I read elsewhere and what I saw after I found video people are making a bigger deal out of it than it was. For instance everyone mentions he rushed out but not that before he said it he was getting up anyway.

Then don't do a post game interview if you're not going to mention it. You don't embarrass the poor guy because he's doing his job. Hes worked for the team for 40 years and is supposed to be the nicest guy in the world, you don't treat him like he's dog shít.

I've met Horwitz a couple of times. He even helped me get my custom Daniel Murphy hat patch card signed... Super friendly guy.

Full details: Noah Syndergaard had discomfort in the back of his elbow, but an MRI showed no damage, according to the Mets. He was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and has been cleared to do his normal work routine. His availability for Monday's start is unclear, though. Yoenis Cespedes was diagnosed with a mild sprain of his left wrist. He received a cortisone injection that should sideline him for a couple of days, but he is expected to avoid the DL. Zack Wheeler received a cortisone injection for sensory nerve irritation in his right elbow, but the Mets believe his surgically repaired elbow is sound.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was 25 strikeouts between them, maybe more

Wasn't there around 25 combined K's between Kershaw and Degrom during Game 1 of the NLDS last year? That was the best game I have ever been to.
