its a color variant first and foremost.

You can only tell once you click on it, not seeing it in the wild before touching it to try and capture.

also before your ball appears, you will see a circular sparkle go around the pokemon.

Check out some videos, it should explain if that sounds confusing.

I wasn't able to do many raids at all the first time the weather trio came out (finished with 1 Rayquaza, 2 Groudons, and 3 Kyogre...) so this has been awesome. Playing between classes and work on a campus like ASU means I can walk up to a gym at pretty much any time and have enough other trainers there to take it down. I've added three Groudons and a Kyogre just today!

Unfortunately I was an a plane the entire time. For a research event, youd think they would have made it a little longer.

Did about 20 research tasks during the feebas event today...0 shinies and my legs are close to falling off

We did somewhere between 15-20 tasks for the Feebas event. I was lucky enough to get 1 shiny, my boyfriend did not get one. He did, however, get a 96% Level 26 Groudon so that was cool.

Its been a long time since my last update, but still going strong.

Ive probably raided more in the last week than the last 3 months combined.

My friends and I went out from 10AM-730PM saturday doing all the 5's we saw across our valley. There was 5 of us for the majority of the day and then picked up our other friend when he got done with work.

We did approx 50 raids that day. Around 35 Groudon and 15 Kyogre(2 friends still didn't have a Shiny Groudon, so we made those priority when we needed to)

It was rough with Shinys from that day overall We ended up getting a total of 6 Groudon(I got 2), and maybe 5 Kyogre at most(I didn't get one-or at all during this event)

Overall I ended up getting 4 Shiny Groudon this cycle and one is a 91%. I also locked down 2 98's, and a couple 96's. pretty happy about that.

Psyduck was horrible for me shiny wise. I didn't get one Saturday, and finally got 2 on Sunday after being out for a few hours. I didn't get my first one until 477 checks.

I also got blanked so far on Zigzagoon and Tailow shinys which sucks, but I did so many dust quests for those. I'mm clsing in on 15M startdust.

I was tremendously lucky with the Feebas event. I powered through 72 research tasks in the 3 hours, and ended up with 6 shinys(all female too!) Best was a 96, and I also got a 100% female as well. Both are already walked and evolved.

I'm already looking forward to this new Raid boss. I was hoping Rayquaza was going to come back for a month with the shiny available to close out the Gen 3 event, but looks to not be the case. Ray still looks to be the top choice for dragon, but this one comes in second. It looks really cool. Too bad I wont be out after work today since we are getting hit with a pretty nasty storm today

I have been playing for less than 6 months....
My shiny luck is stupid.
I have 87 shiny in my storage right now.... I have had a total of 104 different shinies (including ones I evolved) in my dex.

But in what really matters, I only have 2 ultra friends. My girlfriend and some weirdo that thinks just because you have more hits than anyone else in MLB history, you automatically belong in the HOF.

I got blanked on zeebas, kyogre, and groudon. As everyone around me got them. LOL

Omanyte is a reward for something as is anorith, but I forget for what. Anorith spawns fairly regularly too, so that shouldn't be an issue.

And omanyte is in raids.

I was behind and for some reason after i finished step 2 it forgot and ive been stuck 9n catch a ditto forever. Damn excellent throw quest must be gone cause i havent seen one.
