Community day was a good one. closing in on 16M startdust now, and ended up with 23 Shinys.

We have a working map again here, and we saw a 100% IV pop up, so we went after it. Mine was a shiny

First 100% IV shiny I have.

Cant wait for this event to be over though. I'm hoping the water festival is next. I'm closing in on 17,000 karp candies. I want to reach 20,000 for no other reason than "just because"

Working map?!? Wish we had one, would love to reap a ton of extra rare candies for the catch a Chancey quest. Havent seen one since the event started.

Only Chanceys I've seen have come from the "catch 20 luvdisc" quest

Haven't seen n that quest either.

Last couple events that featured Chauncey, I was catching at least one every other day. Not this time though... not even seeing her as a raid boss.

Yea, we've had one back for about a month or 2 now. He was actually able to have the info for stops and the research they give out as well. Its fantastic.

even without a map, I've found about 2 dozen Chansey this event, and i'm not even playing like I was a few months ago. while they aren't common by any means, I haven't felt like they were super rare either.

Now if I can find a Shieldon, I would be thrilled.

I got 5 from Trainer battles with a friend and 5 from trainer practices. You had to complete those during the event. But for the trainer practices, you get an award for the first battle each day. I believe you can get Stardust, rare candies or a sinnoh stone from them.

The sinnoh stone thing is really pissing me off.

I had a shieldon on sightings first day of release, but it wasnt near a stop i could get to!

Now that im in arizona, im missing the spaen and pokestop density of central nj. Im sure there have been plenty of chancey spawns where i used to play. Having been in the airport 6 times over the weekend i was kinda shocked not to land a chancey. I did get one of those 20 luvdisc quests today though

Another event added for this weekend. Latias is back with a shiny possibility.(The Shiny looks really cool, its orange with some green in it)

I wish it was better, but will still be awesome to get!

Most recent event hit 4 shiny swinubs....I had a 100% piloswine waiting to evolve and then caught a 100iv swinub 2 days before the event. Now own 100 mamoswine and 100 piloswine. Evolved the one decent shiny i got(73 iv) to a Mamoswine. Finally hit a Ho-oh out of the field research and snagged a shieldon to boot a bit ago. Trying to finish off a few more sinnoh evolves and more of the gen 4 evolves. Hope they do some of the gen 3 legendary pokemon in the coming months research. I am running out of new stuff for the dex and I dont find it enjoyable to just keep catching random stuff in hopes of a 100.

Had a pretty good event. Ended up with 4 shiny total. Also got a shiny latias and 91% and 93% regular latias both with 15 attack

Ended up with 4 shiny Clamperl today and a shiny Omanyte. Still haven't cleared out all the regulars from tasks so not sure what my best one is yet. Tried for a Latias and failed lol. Friends both got a couple shiny Clamperls as well and one also got a shiny Psyduck. Enjoyed this event more than Feebas for sure.

Latias is one tough son of a gun. Between the two raids my wife and I did, it broke out of 58 straight balls—golden razz and great curves on almost every throw. We went 0/4.

These past 10 days has been pretty great for me in pokemon go shiny-wise.
I feel like january and most of february was pretty bad besides community days. Let me first say that the Smeargle thing is pretty tedious and i kind of wish i never got one. It took mea bout 500 pictures to get my first one. but they seem to have done something and i've been getting it super quick now.

Prior to Swinumb/Mamoswine day, i had not gotten a shiny baby of any kind. Since that community day, i've gotten a shiny caterpie, togepi, meltan, murkrow, an elekid and wynaut (almost back to back), 2 Clamperls (only did half the event), 2 shiny growlithes, a rattata, pidgey and a latias.
The latias, rattata, pidgey and one of the growlithes were all just yesterday.

It's been some crazy RNG but almost all those were new for me except Murkrow. I like to have one of each shiny form.

A lot of you know that i normally run a side account too to help me duo tier 4s and assist in tier 5s. I got a shiny gastly and misdreavus within the same hour yesterday too. Yesterday was shiny heaven.

Probably won't happen again, but my shiny dex is started to fill again. Still missing a lot i feel like. Cleffa, Pichu, and Magby are my goals right now as i've been hatching a lot of 7k eggs. If we're friends on here, please send gifts! you know you always have a gift from me

That's pretty epic! I managed a shiny Murkrow and that's it so far.

man wow, I have seen zero of any shiny recently. I have a coworker who plays a lot and nothing for the last two events. I do not care for shinies a lot but if they are going to be out there wouldnt mind to at least see one or two.

Yeah our raiding crew went around to a few big spawn points Saturday and Sunday and took a drive to a huge one in Canada that was only 3 hours away. Ended up with a 98% Boosted Dialga also so that’s a plus lol

Been a few weeks since I've posted, reached level 40 back on Wednesday. Went got it so I was only 140 XP away so that way the very next pokemon that popped would get me to 40. And the lucky pokemon was......

Minun.

Not super exciting pokemon, but non the less I did it! Trying to find some motivation to keep going. Always was motivated to get to 40, now will try to make it where I'm completing my dex, which is getting there, and shinies.

Caught a shiny Nidoran the other day, so there's that. Didn't catch any shinies during the event however, outside of my 3rd Magikarp and my second Pineco.

I nabbed a shiny Makuhita after the last event ended. Pretty happy about that!
