Thanks--I checked out the thread again and voted (between 4x and 6x was my choice). In that range, people can have a nice side hustle or even make a decent living if they put in the work and are reasonably smart about which players they buy and which cards they submit. In the 1x to 2x range grading is closer to a form of gambling (If it's a 10 I'll make $100 and if it's a 9 I'll lose $100).

Yeah but most of those cards aren't worth grading at $25, let alone $50. I mean nobody is going to send another Yordan #276 for grading again possibly ever. There will be a crapload of pent up demand at first, but after it will level off considerably.

643 cards received on between Saturday and Monday. All orders received Saturday will be in the first submission. (Under 100 cards IIRC). The cards received Monday will be prioritized by who submitted them first. I am going to be away Wednesday through Monday (what I thought I was going away for last week actually became late this week) but I am going to have the team sort the cards and assign the lots even if they aren't able to be submitted. That means you should know what submission you will be in by the end of the week which may move into next week. This is a new process that we are working on so be patient with us please.

Looks like the storm has more or less been weathered of incoming subs. Probably a lighter February than January and then will get smoked end of Q1/Start of Q2 again.

A bunch from research into grading, Id expect grading to fill up then a push to assembly. Again, I think February will be light with a big push to end Q1 and start Q2.

I really feel bad for folks that sent cards in during March, I think one of our best decisions was not to re-open at the increased prices.

How long do you think it will be before your backlog is complete from February? I know as the biggest group submitter you guys make up a significant part of the backlog for group subs. The March backlog will be ridiculous and likely will be way into 2022 before those cards return.

My hope is April will be a final push. Would not be shocked if it made it's way to June. I dont think it would be longer than that.

The stuff that they got in April, not knowing how many cards, Im guessing would be 2nd half of year.

Im also generally a pessimist with this stuff and would rather set longer expectations and have them be beaten.

I am a pessimist as well and think the backlog is being handled, but there could also be a lot of cards that are sent back to customers, Marx fiasco, thus moving the needle faster.

Man, TCG must really be a major problem! I never thought that 2021.55 would still be in assembly.

is anyone else here in 2021.33? it moved to assembly 10/26. i've had another sub move from grading to complete in that time, and am wondering why one sub gets stuck in assembly versus another.

I think Bulk 2020.427 (45 Day Bulk <1971 (2020)) is finished at PSA. No email yet, possibly shipped but not back at PCS yet. It's in QA2 and just taking an educated guess based on one card I have in the sub that went from pop 7 to pop 8.

Had an order pop over weekend and sending everything for consignment. Anything else I need to do other than select all the cards and click on the 'request convert to consignment' button? Status for each of the cards says that 'requested convert to consignment', so sounds like everything is in progress, but just want to make sure I didn't miss any steps.

Nice, I’m in 2022.2 as well. I think I remember it may have been said earlier in the thread, but subs are by date received with tie going to whoever entered it in the system first?

2022.422 went to QA1 1/23 (email received midnight, so technically email on 1/24)

2022.422 now showing QA2. So went today/yesterday.

I guess I’ll look forward to being in .6 (sending Mid March?) since my cards are touring the great state of Florida since Friday lol. Sucks because I was probably one of the first to enter cards after the announcement. Had my list still in hand and ready to go after losing out in the lottery. Mailed the next morning but all for nothing. Just venting about USPS here, I wish this was the first time they’ve let me down. I guess at this point I just need to hope that they make it there period!

Anyone know if Grading Step Updates are provided like with PSA or would the order just pop once done? what about a time frame, would it still be 1-2 months?

They are all manual so just updated at end. Usually around a month.

Love that Manu, awesome grade on that one! One of my favorite cheap cards in my PC.
