This is Thiele's Mona Lisa. It's weird that I ranked JK5's Vlad at #4 just behind The Mona Lisa at #3 a few weeks back.

Mona colors: Green, gold, beige, white, blue
Reggie: Ditto

Mona: Prominent hands
Reggie: Thiele ADDS prominent hands to the original card

Mona: Look where the blue is
Reggie: Right where Leonardo's is

Mona: Enigmatic smile

Thiele was purposely making his version of THE MONA LISA.

from what I've read and heard from artist there will be a ton. I'm thinking maybe half of the set will be NY/LA players.

I have an idea for a P2022 set. Artists do a draft of players. Once one is picked, they are gone. How great would that be? 20 artists, 20 different player cards...…..that would generate some interest. Only issue there is that most of the artists don't know enough players to finish the draft.

Think of the Yankees that have not even been mentioned that much on these boards.

If I were a Project 70 artist, I would create a Set within a Set within a Set.

I would incorporate the retired Yankee Numbers 1-10 (excludng #7) into my images. This would practically guarantee that I would get even more sales and if I was quiet about it early, I could create a flurry in the secondary market after people start catching on.

I love the idea. You can create special allowances for repeat players as well.

i.e. you can repeat a player who was on a different team. Therefore 3 different Babe Ruths.
