So I went on one of my other accounts last night, hadn't played it since Slakoth day either, but was 8k from lvl 38. So Caught some guys today at work and hit lvl 38 woohoo

Mostly just wanted post Reply #7200

And somehow 7200 was posted a full 24 hours before you posted?

Finally got a lucky trade between my 2 accounts. Scored a giratina o 93% perfect attack which was a welcome addition with mewtwo back in the ritation.

Does anybody here go by TWasylikJr in the game? We are about to become Best Friends and if you are here, I would like to coordinate an egg with you. I am 150k XP from hitting Level 39 so the egg would be really helpful

This event really stacks up the experience. My 7 day catch streak netted me 7800XP and it wasnt even my first throw or a good throw. With a lucky egg it would have been over 15000? That is nuts

Yesterday was off the hook.

Started off with my first Mewtwo raid(My hip has been giving me problems so I took most of the week off to let it heal). Plus this Mewtwo is hot garbage so i wanted to get one for the dex, and then i'm totally fine with not doing any others. Luckily my first one was 96%. It can F off now until it's Shiny. haha.

For the raid window, my group and I broke our PR....50! The best part is I feel we can make 1 or 2 more adjustments and possibly boost that number to 53.

Got 5 Shiny Entei, best was a 93. Outside of that, didn't get anything higher than a 91. One shiny was the worst CP it could be, so that was kinda cool.

Forgot to mention at the end of the last event on my last research from the week, I got a shiny Scyther that was 96%, so I was pumped about that.

Sitting at about 128 Mil XP right now, and I almost have 100 Best friends, which should be eclipsed this week as well.

How did everyone else do?

Praying the Water festival event comes this week!

I got 2 shinies on 1 acct and none on the other. Had am x pass for the new deoxys but wasnt able to complete the raid. Thought it would be an easy trio but my phone kept overheating.

I believe Androids just started recieving the update yesterday. Not out for iOS yet, or at least not on my phone

Really cool. Hope your hip is doing better. I'm in the middle of putting together my comps lists for the second half of my grad program, so I wasn't able to get out for the Entei event. Really bummed about that.

The overheating struggle is real. 9 months out of the year Phoenix is amazing for PoGo but we're in those 3 months right now where being outside on your phone during the day is just begging to have it overheat. Summer community days are kind of this unspoken thing where everyone rotates through the shaded areas just to keep their phones cool and also to be able to see the screen.

I've found during these months, if I'm going to play during the daytime, that grabbing a medium-sized gel pack from the freezer and wrapping it in a thin towel works wonders. I just hold the gel pack between my palm and the phone and it dramatically improves things.

Can't wait for this to go live with iOS. The ability to pull up the appraisal screen and then swipe through 'mons as well as the ability to search 1*, 2*, 3*, 4* and instantly pull up every 'mon in that appraisal bracket will be game-changing. Especially during community days.

I'm hoping to be able to play a bit more once we get to August and I have a week or two with no major responsibilities before the semester starts up. I did finally catch a shiny murkrow yesterday, so that was nice.

I think he is stacking 1 tick away from best friends people, as I am 1 tick away from him and haven't seen a gift in awhile..... So he can pop a lucky egg and do a bunch at once...

I don't worry about it because I am already level 40.... BUT the workaround is to send someone a EX raid invite, this will trigger a friendship event and will bump you up to best friends, just make sure you do a lucky egg 1st....

Really loving the new appraisal system, and now you can also use search strings to find 100% pokemon and then ranges from 82-99 and so forth

4* = 100%
3* = top tier appraisals(82-99)
and down all the way to 1* for 50-60% IVr roughly/

Team rocket invasion should be happening shortly, along with the Jirachi quest and Shadow pokemon(which will also ahve 3 new badges associated with it)

Happy to see some new things out there!

Assuming yes, then I only had 2 I didnt know about. a 100 Bunny and Bellsprout.

But I didnt realize I have a 100 Gengar (even though its name 15/15/15 100 lol

Correct.

If you search 3*(top tier appraisals 82%-98%) it would show anything above 82, so it shows 3* and 4*

Its a very helpful tool too, and after a while it becomes really easy to read those appraisals. Each of the 3 lines are broken down into 3 bars representing 5 each(totaling the 15 for a perfect star), so if you see just 2 completely full and one only with a smidge into the 3rd bar you know its a 15/15/11 for the appraisal. Its a god send.

This is going to be amazing for community days when you don't have to worry about taking time away to catch to see what your best IV is before the time for the exclusive move runs out, and from what m friend told me who is super into the series as a whole this is the closest they ever game to giving the true IV. They have NEVER said what anything is, but you can visually decode it with this new system.

So I havent done a Mewtwo Raid, and doubt I will.

Even though I have a handful or Rayquezas, but because he is a simple 3 man and pretty easy 2 man kill. I will probably get back into playing simply to knock him out daily.

I hate playing with others, not a social person. So when Legendaries aren't 80% beatable with 3 or 4 accounts I dont bother with them. (I didnt go Giratina so I dont have Mewtwo counters other than my Tyranitar Army)

But will be nice to Raid again, and burn through my 80+ passes.

Ive played more this week or so than probably the 2 months combined. did like 3 Tyranitar Raids.

Noticed on my side account the last 2 times I had played were Slakoth day and Mudkip day lol.
