$2500 for an Opening Day Bryce Harper 1/1 Auto?

That seems insanely high.

Come June.... will people even care about how many OD HR's Harper has?

It is a Bryce Harper Auto.... but WOW.... Good Luck Flippers.

I think I'm going to pass, its a gimmicky stat. If it was 200th HR or something, then it might be worth it.

I didn't expect this, so wasn't doing the periodical check on Topps.com.
It is really tempting, but not being a big Harper fan, kind of tough to pull the trigger.

I mean if they made auto for him with this event, then how many autos/relics will be there this season!?
There might be more desirable player autos (for me) popping up soon, and I probably should save up for those.

I went for a /99 auto. Love the first Topps Now autos of players. Think that's what I'm going to focus on this year. No repeats. Though I'm sure I'll be tempted.

What a weird selection. The Harper makes sense but did the Orioles' game really warrant two cards? Plus the Benintendi accomplishment is really a stretch.

I bought one of the bay cause I like that Benintendi has a card commemorating him for hitting an opening day HR to start off his RC season but I would not have been upset if Fred would have only put that on the front and the team record milestone on the back.

As "daily events", I think they do. I was surprised there was no LA Dodgers card(s).

Love the back of the Harper showing opening day stadium. As someone who has yet to catch a Nat's game, that was a perfect opening day stadium pic....they even got the Air Force jets in at the top!!

And the Manny Machado, front and back, shows the moment PERFECTLY. That was an incredible throw. This is my favorite card for 2017 so far.

As I said in a previous post, these pics are A+ for me. Nice job Fred!

How long does it typically take to sign/print/send one of these special cards? Waiting on an auto-relic from Correa from the WBC. Probably overpaid...want to take my lumps and move on.
