Now, Coach Payton is going to try a new method to help Wilson- a wristband with plays on it. But 308 yards, and 3 TD's only one pic, I am not a Wilson fan by any stretch, but that seems pretty solid- much better than last week (or last year). I think it was that he struggled in the Red Zone and took some sacks that is the problem.

What would it take to see Stidham?

Not really hot takes, just takes.

7 sacks, fumble, int.

I have heard for a decade now how bad his o-line is. Always his o-line.

Maybe it's just him.

Hope he turns it around, but whatever special he had appears to wearing off.

This is according to both Pro Football Reference as well as ESPN.

Regardless, any QB metric is quite iffy 2 games into the season.

- Justin Fields Optic holo RC PSA
- Russell Wilson Topps Chrome refractor RC PSA x2

Do with that information what you will.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and a Trevor Lawrence Classics gold RC—but it was graded by SGC.

ESPN had him at 7th for his week one performance.

...and 23rd for week 2.

I do hope he turns it around, he has a SB winning coach, solid D. Some good skill players.

I think Russ got some humble pie last year and has been doing well this year.

I'm not writing him off, but he has always hung on to the ball too long and his ability to escape is not what it once was.

He needs to evolve RIGHT NOW.

He's 34 and a future Hall of Famer. You sound like you have a grudge. Chillax. He's two games under Sean Payton is doing pretty darned well... for a 34 year old.

he’s not wrong though, his ability to escape was nearly second to none early in his career. and yes he does hold onto it too long sometimes, that was always a bit frustrating when he was in seattle and lost a lot of his elusiveness in the pocket. but id say he’s doing pretty darn good for what he has to throw to. outside of sutton hes got a rookie and an injured jeudy. id hold the panic button until week 7-8 if they dont have a winning record

He's done well enough to put the team in position to win games. Again, not Wilson's fault defense gave up 35 points for crying out loud this week.

That said, I don't think Denver wins much at all this year.

They are likely 0-3 facing the Dolphins this week

Then they get the Bears and Jets, followed up by the Chiefs, Packers and Chiefs again

It is very likely after 8 games they are 2-6. As a Bronco fan, I would like to be contenders for the playoffs again, but at this point just tank and hope we can get Caleb because I think Payton can do wonders with him.

Also, I can't emphasis it enough but the Denver's defense is god awful this year.
