An Aqua Lava Refractor Auto /199 sold for $730 yesterday. A gold auto redemption sold for $1,105. Two data points for ya.

How many non auto chrome and refractors can you expect in a 100 cases?

Been so long since I have played... I forgot and can't seem to find via the google machine

His auto redemptions are insert autos… those don’t do nearly what a true auto does tho. I put it up at $1500 auction… or would take $2000 for it

I mean - honestly what do you expect people to say? They'll either guess... or look at sales of existing cards LIKE it and then come up with some reasonable logic. Which you can (probably) do... I hope.

So for everyone who may post something like this... do 45 seconds of legwork on 130point searching for "Bowman Marcelo Auto" and then see what comes up. Shimmer seem to be like a solid green or some fraction below a gold. Gold seem to be a fraction below an orange. Whatever logic you want to use. If you don't know what logic to use... try it on a different similar player. Look up last release's big prospect that had a similar selling base auto. Find a gold shimmer of that.

Then add a big old fudge factor because the product has been officially out for 72 hours.

So for Marcelo, seems to add up to something in the 2500-4000 range if you believe current sales.

I did do some leg work but nothing this low has sold yet. Never really got into the draft hype. Last time I opened draft was 2008. But thank you for your evaluation.

Yeah…I don’t bother with those types of posts when the OP doesn’t show they’ve put forth an ounce of effort. He could mention what other Mayer autos have “sold” for and his guesstimate for the card.

I believe it is around 3.30 base chrome per jumbo case, 5.40 base chrome per super jumbo, and a little under 1 refractor per jumbo or super case.

You should average 1 refractor and 3-4 chromes per case.

A gold wave usually sells a little above a black /75 or a true blue /150. Waves, shimmers, etc. usually don’t carry the same weight as the true solid colors. RDTs estimate is probably right on. But it’s gonna vary wildly until prices figure themselves out.

How much are you into the card financially?

He is one of the best prospects with a large fan base.

I would sell everything but this card unless money were an issue.

Put it on a 5 day auction and let the market decide.
