One thing I know is I’m sure Judge himself isn’t nearly as adversarial and douchey as the Judge/Yankees fans in the Cal Raleigh thread.

Interesting. You're a Tigers fan and keep insisting you have no care about the MVP but keep following me and every other Judge fan around the forum to comment about us.

Careful. By stating facts, JV7 will accuse you of diminishing Cal.

I am not 'following' I've been apart of the same threads for the past month or whenever they were created. Am I suppose to stop posting in here? Please give me clarification of where I can and can't post. You're a Yankees homer/Judge fanatic, why do you need to be in a thread that celebrates Raleigh when you never do?

And yet I have acknowledged what he did this season. You just keep ignoring that and then when I add what he did this season wasn't nothing compared to Judge's season, you say I'm diminishing Cal. At this point, every response you have is a joke and worthless.

If you look at the post counts in this thread and who posted the most, it sure is interesting to see.

I'm still looking for clarification if I'm allowed to post in here since I'm not a Mariners fan, but since a Yankees fan is atop the leaderboard I can only hope it's allowed now.

I don't care where you post but it's funny how you follow me around to all the threads where the MVP has been discussed when you've never done that before. And like I said, you haven't contributed anything to the discussion in a long time. But you be you as this is the last time im going to respond to you unless you actually want to have a real discussion on the subject.

This year's MVP is a real discussion, that might be why, the last 2 seasons both AL and NL MVP were unanimous decisions. 2022, AL MVP was near unanimous, 2021 AL MVP was unanimous, covid year doesn't count, 2019 was the last season AL MVP had any sort of real debate to it.

Totally fine to not respond to me, I told you a month ago I thought our discussion had ran it's course...Best of luck! Try to stay out of Cal threads where he is celebrated, you don't seem to understand you keep giving backhanded dismisses towards him!

In a Cal Raleigh thread, you want to talk about the (little amount of) offensive categories Cal leads in, but you leave out one major category because Cal only won it by two steals? If you’re going to state the facts, especially with major categories to support your argument, state ALL the facts.. don’t hand pick your categories. Even though Cal beat him by only 2 steals, it’s still a major category he did better at.

You think steals is a major category when the 2 people we are discussing had less than 15 total stolen bases in a season because neither is built to steal? OK. Maybe I just overlooked it like those who claim we "dinosaurs" should overlook batting average now in this MVP race.

To some people, when looking at the overall “value” Cal & Judge bring to their teams, consider this a close race.. so yes, every statistic category is important.

But let me guess.. if Judge had more stolen bases, I am sure you would mention stolen bases in your argument.

I asked you a simple question: why you would leave out a major stat category.. and you’re answer was because Cal only leads that category by two stolen bases. Who cares if he only beat him by two. It’s still a stat category Cal won. Some people really amaze me.. and you’re one of them.

Let me ask you a question. Not including stolen bases in one post of several I have made regarding the subject, is it as egregious as the Cal supporters continuing to claim he's a platinum glove defender to bolster their case when that was last year and he's not even a gold glove finalist this year? Or using the fact that he has zero passed balls as a defensive argument instead of including the rest of his defensive stats? I'm just trying to see where you draw your line on outrage regarding incomplete stats.

Polymarket has judge at 73% so anyone thinking Cal will win it can in theory make a lot of money.

I asked you a simple question.. why are you trying to steer this conversation to another topic?

It was simple: why did you leave out a major stat category?

It’s obvious you only left it out because Cal won that category.. regardless if it was only by two steals.

You’re silly. Even if you said “home runs, RBI’s, and steals”, Judge still leads in a majority of offensive categories. But, instead, you want to hand pick your “facts”.

Now you want to move this topic somewhere else.

Get out of here. You just lost a lot of credibility.

That's not why I left it out considering I've included it in other posts, but I'm glad you assume you know me and are willing to deflect on other topics regarding the same discussion. Like you have anymore credibility.

It was 56 games at DH and the majority of those were after he returned from the IL with his arm issue. They wanted to get his much needed bat in the game while letting his arm continue to get healthy before having him play the field again.

By the way, that was only 18 more games than Cal was a DH.

You’re embarrassing yourself. Touting he ONLY DH’d 18 more times when Raleigh caught 119 games instead of languishing out in RF is hilarious.

DH is DH hurt or no hurt. It's part of the game. I would love to see Lerch catch.

What's embarrassing is the Cal supporters who couldn't even support a thread created to discuss him 2 years ago until he has one great season and now they come out of the woodwork to blast anyone who dares say he doesn't deserve the MVP because he only hit a few more homeruns, RBIs, and stolen bases and played a different position.

I was simply responding to someone putting out false information once again about Judge. Maybe go put on blast the Cal fans who keep stating he was a platinum glove defender.

And there is a stat (WAR) that many people have already discussed in the various MVP threads that takes into account position and Judge still is ahead of Raleigh in that so your catcher argument is worthless. By the way, just asking is 8+ on the WAR scale the recommendation for MVP-caliber player and Cal's was 7.3 according to Baseball Reference.
