2024 Summer Olympics Cards from Topps?

Been a busy day but just wanted to report that my boxes (2 cases + 8 loose boxes) via Fanatics rep arrived today.

Going to try ripping a box or two with my 2 y/o before eating some dinner.

Squeezed in 3 boxes. Didn't hit anything crazy that I know of and unfortunately can't get into the specifics as we're about to eat dinner but I hit the following:

7 x autos (1 Champions, Spitz)
4 x relics (1 box had 2 relics, which included a /50)
1 x Red /5
1 x Black /10

Really fun break with lots of color. 1 box had 3 autos and 2 relics too. Wish my Champions auto was a Phelps or Ledecky though haha.

Alright, my kid is asleep!

I enjoyed the 3 loose boxes I ripped earlier tonight so much that I've decided to rip a case.

Starting now!

2nd box into the case (2nd pack into the box) and I hit a Athlete Nouveau 1/1 superfractor!

Unfortunately, it's Cade Cowell.

I'll take it though, always fun pulling a 1/1.

Edit: Same box had a Chasing the Rings Michael Phelps case hit too. Crazy.

Yeah, I've thrown up all of my parallels, inserts and hits on Ebay, I guess we'll see where I stand when it all ends. Hoping to at least sell enough in boxes and singles to have broken even after opening a couple of boxes...and if I have a box or two left after I break even, I might have to bust those

Yup. This and Heritage Mini are my products of the year so far. Glad I took a chance on this one.

Just as a reference, I was able to build a complete set of base cards (1-200) from my 6 hobbies. Some cards I only got 1, others up to 5!

Just a heads up, I moved my Caroline Marks Jumbo Relic 1/1 for $1600 goods.

That one sale essentially covered the entire cost of the case (after capital gains taxes, just need to recoup ~$100 before breaking even).

Went up to my LCS for supplies and my free pack on Trading Card Day. He had a half case left of Olympic. Wasn’t going to do it but there was one box with a dented corner so I ripped it. Glad I did.
