Yeah, love Goedert. But he's not a star. As proven by the fact he just returned to Philly for $7mil.

Star or not, Goedert had 4x more TDS by himself than the entire TE room of the Broncos all year. If he went to Denver and had 7-8 TDS that would be a giant win. He's a red zone threat

I dont care about pro bowls- I can watch flag football games anytime.
I care about the 24TDS they bring to the table

And I'll take an old Goedert for a season or two over ANYONE the Broncos have. And Etienne is only 27 still a couple good yrs left in the tank

Love how people are trying to bend truths here and ignore the fact that Goedert and Etienne were highly productive for 24 TDS and 2000 yards between them last season, yet somehow 'they aren't stars' I could care less about stars, just produce and stay healthy, Goedert and Etienne do just that

Fun fact:
Goedert had as many receiving TDs this year as St Brown, and McBride, and more than JSN and Puka- Pretty good for a guy that is "not a star"

Oh and Etienne had more total TDS than Bijan... he's not a star either, LOL

You think the Broncos would score 24 MORE TDs just because they were there. I’m sure they wouldn’t be taking any away from another player.

You called them stars though... so you obviously care

Etienne is fine. That's it. He averaged 4.3 YPC last year... good for 29th in the league... and he absolutely did have 13 TD's. He only has 7 receiving TD's in his entire career... and 6 of them were last year in your number... but they still count even if it's a clear outlier

Goedert is 31 years old. No one wanted him. He's an average TE at this point in life

But $20M will absolutely get you a star RB and star TE

Which is what you said... very incorrectly I might add

Goedert is a totally fine middle of the road TE

Glad he’s back with the Eagles

You can’t sign a star RB and TE for $20M
