I know who that buyer is. Very deep pockets, and a big registry guy who is happy to pay up for highest graded

When I seen it was in the $500's I skipped it. I lost track of time and missed the 2009 Elite Patch Auto. That was high on my list. Looking like I would had won it. Went really low IMO. I did win the 2010 Topps Pro Debut Blue PSA 5. Seen the 2012 Topps Chrome Red Refractor went for crazy money, glad I already have one. Bid on the 2013 Topps Chrome Photo Variation but didn't win. Wasn't sure of a price for it. Didn't help I had a couple Acuna's I was watching too.

Anyone here bidding on those Bowman Chrome BGS 10s from the Iowa guy? I bid on his early batches and won one but they went a lot lower then the last few times.

For those thinking of selling Trout RCs now thinking this is an MVP bump and you'll buy them back in the offseason.....

Read this and let it sink in.....

The other fun part of that 74.9 WAR that Trout is on pace to finish the season with? It would rank 50th all-time among position players. Think of all the players to suit up in Major League history, think of all of the greats, and the simple fact of the multitude of players there have been. And Trout would already, at age 28, be the 50th best position player by WAR all-time

This is ONLY his 9th season... 8 full seasons and his partial 2011 season. The guys he is passing have all played about 18-22 seasons.... 18-22.... this is ONLY his 9th.

While it doesn’t match so many of the other cards posted, I was able to win an early Trout auto in the REA auction tonight (after all my vintage bids were left in the dust). It’s my first Trout card auto, so I am happy with it.

2 different versions of selling.

Selling just to sell because you think he has peaked and you can buy back cheaper in the offseason.... this isn't the time to sell.

Selling to upgrade to something better... that I fully support. For instance... Trout money is stayng Trout money... quantity to quality.

Where did it get shown that card was altered? I looked at it in detail. It's not altered.

PWCC scum may have been selling it, but it's not altered.
