Thanks. I didn't even think of that. lol. Was going for a blue at auction last, but it went for over 500 raw so I feel I got a pretty good deal on this one. Nice low #'d refractor that was cheaper than a base PSA 10 prizm rookie.

I'm a little biased though because I've got 1 green phoenix and 2 green crusades. But the fact that they are #/25 AND are the same green for the old Mavs jersey (Prizm green doesn't quite match) - they are 3 of my favorite cards.

If we're keeping track, I've also got a green phoenix that graded a 10 from psa, planning on holding on to that one for a while.

I doubt anyone is going to lose sponsors if people start testing positive on a team. At this point I just don't see any way we make it through the season without huge issues.

We'll have to see how good the "bubble" is. I've had my own doubts as well but these are no ordinary circumstances. If anyone can pull this off it's the NBA with the strict measures and procedure they have put in place. Between the testing, special rings they have to wear, the isolation, no crowds, etc. It will literally be one of the safest places in the world to be.... If everything is done correctly.

Not me - I sold my only PSA 9 Status base last week.
Just have 2 base 10s and 2 blue 10s as far as status goes.

I said it before but I must again.... Status looks reeeeeealy nice.

I think status in general is flying a bit under the radar up until lately. The pursuit die cuts and jersey numbered SSP parallels are some of my favorites that pop up on my eBay saved searches. I grabbed a Donovan Mitchell Status RC SSP /45 for a bargain the other day. I think this stuff is going to be sought out big time by people buying for their PCs in years to come.

I know this is the Luka thread but I rather ask you gents as opposed to the gents in the Mahomes thread(s). Those folks are a bit rattled and look for an excuse to yell PUMP when ever someone talks about a particular card. I just don't need that. I go and read but refrain from posting in Mahomes threads as of late.

So between eBay bucks and recent sales, I will be able to add one of the following cards that I like: Mahomes Prizm Silver PSA 9, Luka Optic Holo PSA 9 or Luka Prizm base PSA 10

Based on you all that dabble in Mahomes and Luka - which would you go after? This decision is long term hold.

Some back info:
Luka - (all PSA 10s) I own a Prizm Silver as my main Luka card + Status 172 (x2), Status 172 Blue (x2) + Hoops base (x4). I sold off many previously and just kept these.

Mahomes - I only have base Optic and Optic Holo both PSA 10s

122 is Walmart/Blue, 172 is Target/Red.

122 has Green (blaster), Orange (hanger), Aqua (fat pack), Pursuit (all), Gold (all), and Status (all) parallels.

172 has Purple (blaster), Blue (hanger), Red (fat pack), Pursuit (all), Gold (all), and Aspirations (all) parallels.

Since Walmart's distribution is bigger, there's usually more Walmart parallels than Target parallels. So I suspect there are more base 122 than 172. Pop report supports that also. I don't think there will ever be a big difference between the two for pricing. But I think 172 Blue is the best non-SP parallel for obvious reasons.

Have to be careful with the colors though because there are a lot of mistitled listings and wrong PSA flips. The only PSA Status Blue listed right now is just a base.

I collect both Mahomes and Luka. Out of that list, I'd say definitely the Luka Holo PSA 9. Do you already own a Mahomes Optic Holo? If not, I'd look into grabbing one of those. I sold my Mahomes Prizm rookies and bought all Optic parallels and haven't looked back.

It’s too hard to choose. I’d take mahomes because I can see his stuff hitting Brady levels in prices soon. That’s just me personally obviously you’d want both tho
