Braun to the Cubs for Almora, straight up. Id love to see that happen but the way Soler is playing it wont be long before Almora is with the Cubs.
While as a Brewers fan I think there is a decent chance Braun could be traded he still has around 90 million owed to him. If the Brewers just want to unload him without getting anything good back they might be able to do that. But if they want a decent prospect back my guess they will have to eat around 30-40 million of his remaining salary.

Now Lucroy though should bring back a couple good prospects as he would still be team controled through next season.

Why would the Angels even pick up the phone without Bryant? You want the best player in baseball, there is no one off limits.

If the Cubs dont wanna do it, thats fine but if you think the Angels arent demanding Bryant and or Russell then you are crazy.

Bryant isn't going anywhere, nor is Russell.

Not going to happen.

But if it did...Trout in Wrigley with a lineup that can protect him?! Can you say 50 homers a year for the next decade...

Then if Mike Trout is ever on the table, he isnt going to Chicago.

Like saying the Red Sox could get Trout with Bogaerts and or Betts involved

I think if he continues to play well some team will take the majority of his contract and return a decent prospect. In the realms of contracts his is still pretty reasonable.
