What's the big difference between Heritage and HHN?

Totally new series, with a focus on players that were not in the low number for whatever reason. Also traditionally has been an opportunity for Topps to add Rookie Cards that werent available for the low number.

we are yet to see what Topps does with this release, as it is coming out waaay earlier then it has in the past

the release date isn't set in stone. I'd bet that HHN won't come out until mid September.

That wouldn't make much sense. This product was already a mid-September product but was moved this year as part of Topps' release calendar shakeup. I'd bet it was a very intentional move to slot it in August. We don't yet know why, but intentional nonetheless.

Agreed... I wish I collected then but 2015 not had Bryant and Correa it also had Thor, Lindor, and Addison Russell.... also Matz!

Why do you say 2016 HH# was a disaster?

As a collector who builds Heritage sets, the product was just fine.

Just because it didn't have huge profit potential for investors doesn't make it a disaster....

All Star break is usually the cutoff for that years rookies to get included in products.

The rest are usually the Series 1 RCs the next year and drive early season releases and auto content.

I know there are a few exceptions, but Topps has been printing their stuff way in advance this year...no reason to blow a big RC on just a few products.

Agree... only thing that matters is getting Belly in this... Which i am 99% sure he will have all the auto base and fun varations..

Last year HHN had a small and very good auto checklist.. hoping for that again...

I would imagine they just haven't updated the release of the blasters being heritage high was originally slated out just before 08/24 but then was delayed.
