This x10. It's funny to think all those names have taken such a backseat to Judge and Bellinger. Not a bad group to fall back on if the big 2 start to slow down.

Pre release wax pumping has never been seen to this extent, and I guess what I'm trying to say is: previous years had more justification to inflate than this one. I.E. 2010 Bowman. It was a guaranteed winner as base Strasburg / Harper Chromes were $25-$30 at release and only climbed from there...mixed with a loaded prospect auto checklist. Not a fan of the gouging but it is what it is yah know.

Why am I talking, I don't even buy wax.

Higher print runs, equal less big cards per case. Higher print runs plus higher prices = Market Bubble.

I asked BO a few days ago when 17 Topps High Tek will be available for presale and they responded that they will try to have some available on the live date. When was the last time that happened that a product was not available until the day of release? I am still trying to figure that one out.

Here's my question.

BO is $165 on 2017 Bowman Hobby Boxes.

Ebay is $125-$150. The boxes aren't selling on ebay.

Who is buying them at $165 from BO?

(And they were $125 yesterday!)

I was told the same thing about Bowman Tek after I missed out on the presale allotment.

Oh, well.

Bowman Tek was available presale for a short period of time and I was able to get a case. But Topps Tek has not been available as a presale product.

Remember that this forum is a wealth of information. Don't step on toes because you're upset about wax prices. There are ways around it.

I can tell you, I spend a lot of time and money on cards yearly. I'm seeing many small guys get out, many 1 box to 1 case rippers go retail.....no good long term for Distributors/Wholesale all the way to LCS's.

I knew about this and tried to warn you guys way back in the heritage thread....a lot of you turned a blind eye to it.

Everyone else is doing the same so maybe it was a decree by Topps. Something weird going on.
