Makes me want to buy Greinke's RC and auto.

Is there a specific card that is considered his RC?

'A teammate, Alex Gordon, was really struggling at the plate. Gordon just couldn't hit anything at all, and one day Greinke came up to him and said he wanted to show Gordon something in the video room. Gordon was thrilled -- Greinke is renowned for his baseball eye. For a long time, the Royals thought Greinke would make a great scout after he retired (that plan is probably scuttled since Greinke will clear $300 million in baseball after he plays out this contract).

Anyway, Gordon followed Greinke into the room and got ready to receive some advice.
On the television, cued up, was the home run Greinke hit against Arizona in his fourth big league at-bat. They watched it together. And then watched it again.

"Do more of that," Greinke said.'

2002 Bowman Draft and Chrome
2002 Upper Deck autograph (sticker, basically)

The 2002 Bowman cards are hideous in my opinion. This does make me want to buy some on-card autos though.

I love the story too - Posnanski has all the best ones. Never sure how much is true though. For instance, if that Alex Gordon story is true, it would have been easy for Gordon to turn around and point out that Greinke gave up ELEVEN runs in that game.

I have a Brewers-only rule but I've been thinking about picking one up too. Can make an exception for your favourite player, right? I've made the case previously that he's not that far off borderline HOF numbers. He'll need at least a couple more good seasons to have any chance, but he's aging well.

Edit: I've even considered going down the TTM route, something I've never done. Don't think I'll bother now...

If indeed he is on the autism spectrum, it's nothing to make fun of or name-call about.

He suffers with Social Anxiety Disorder and Depression. I have never seen anywhere that he is anywhere close to the autism spectrum. I myself battle with both of those, and can honestly say that it is nothing to take lightly.

Calling it now.

Greinke is going to fall apart against the Rockies.

Neshek pulled a stunt, and it's working. Greinke has been terrible in his last two starts, since Neshek posted his story. Now, Greinke faces the Rockies in a pressure cooker. He's going to implode.

Or he'll throw a perfect game. Either/or.

His last start he only have up 2 runs. Wouldn't say terrible, but definitely not himself.

6 hits and 2 BB in 4 IP, WHIP of 2 ... the 2 runs just means he stranded a ton of baserunners
