Wow. Great work once again.

The corruption keeps running deeper.

Generally speaking 10's are not that rare and there are plenty of submitters who can land 9's and 10's pretty easily. Even as a graded collector I must admit the line between a mint and gem mint card can be very fine and somewhat arbitrary.

Jeter sp is the only friggan card they check the size on.....absolutely ridiculous. I have quite a few series 1 rookies(black, independence day etc etc)that have a touch of white on the corner, like 95% of the rest of them out there...These guys could turn cards like that into 10s in 30 seconds....profit would be huge.

I have a feeling PSA turns a blind eye towards their favorite individuals to do business with. These individuals can obtain , chop them ,and have no consequences. Perfect 10 everytime!

CONFIRMED by two independent sources

Mike Souza was a not just an employee at CU, he was a card grader for PSA. I had this information earlier, but awaited independent confirmation, which was received today.

Wow! Unreal.

Let me jump in line and buy his PSA 10's on eBay. Can't wait!

Hmmm. I wonder if Mike Souza was able to detect trimmed cards as a grader, or if his time as a PSA grader, developed his corruption?
Either way, not a good look for PSA.

I am of the opinion that the top card doctors would be the best graders.

Threads like this aged well.

If you don't like grading, why complain??

Purely anecdotal....grading on a whole is consistent and free of favoritism or corruption!

Zero internal controls or protection...no 3rd party auditing. Prices inexplicably booming across the board.

Could see this kind of junk coming from a mile away.

PSA and BGS both suck a fat one. Pick your poison.

Well now is there not only a smoking gun, there's a dead body on the floor and PSA is holding the weapon.

There was some people in that thread who said grading is terrible. Some of them even provided photo proof. Still, no one listened.

I wonder if that person was right all along? Hmmmm.

Yup. So many concerns raised over the years...fallen upon deaf ears. A few were 'woke,' but majority shied away from actual conversation or just flat out denied anything was wrong with the system.

Thank god for BODA for actually dropping the irrefutable mountain of evidence.

So disgusted at this point. I keep typing out different responses to this and then deleting it because it seems pointless. I guess all I should say is thank you, again, to the people putting in the time and effort to expose this stuff. I really hope it is for the right reasons, which I truly believe it is. Pretty much at my breaking point with the hobby though. Really is utterly ridiculous.

The next great craze in grading will be the opaque slab. The submitter will get to pick the color.

We’re just about there already.

If it can be sold at a premium, they will come.

if the hobby is no longer enjoyable, then it sounds like it is best for you to move on.

Here is a couple direct quotes from that thread

"I do not understand why people are constantly railing against graded cards."

Why? Because grading is a joke. Some of us were smart enough to see that a long time ago.

Heres another beauty

"So yeah, strictly speaking from experience, grading is NOT inconsistent. Can anyone claiming otherwise speak from experience?"

Gary Moser probably can

And last but not least..this gem

"The graders have NO CLUE who's cards they are grading"

Joe Clemons is somewhere laughing real hard at this comment

The cards passing are meeting size tolerance. I just bought a $20 digital caliper off of amazon and no 2 cards at the exact same size down to the decimal. There is a reason they have a tolerance.

You do know why they have a size tolerance, right?

Its so they can give trimmed cards numerical grades. This keeps people happy and it keeps them submitting and PSA makes more money.

Its the same reason they 60/40 for centering instead of 50/50.

They use 60/40 so they can give your cards Gem Mint 10 grades even though your card is not gem mint. This keeps you happy and keeps you submitting and PSA makes more money.

These grading companies are playing you guys like a fiddle. Make no mistake about it. The joke is on you guys.
