Okay okay, sorry to rile myself and you up. I know I'l still go in as deep as I can buying stuff at the prices regardless so I'll just go back over here pretending to work and think about the crazy amount of cards I have stored in so many random boxes here at work and at home.

Perfect example-People were complaining when Prizm Basketball came out that it was 400.00 a box and way overpriced. Now its 900.00 a box.

Im pretty lucky that no one in my general area of the state collects baseball, ill be able to find plenty of bowman at my walmart. there was still packs of 2019 bowman for a while until i finally got around to buying the last few a month or two ago.

Basketball Prizm on the other hand got cleaned out fast.

What are guesses on delays? A week or two?

No delays yet. Topps will release everything they can until the printer can no longer meet demand. I would expect many product delays beyond mid-April but for now they will push this out quickly if they can.

Looks like the mega boxes came out mid-May last year. If that's the same this year, guessing those may be delayed. But hopefully the hobby and other retail SKUs come out on time.

Does anyone know roughly where in the process the pack out would be now with a 4/15 release date? Just curious.

Default Question?

My questions is, how close to release date does the Bowman checklist get posted?

Retail.

Bowman hobby is a joke at this point for how much it goes for. At the very least regular Bowman should be like Draft, you can get a 3 auto hobby box or a 5 auto jumbo. Looking at the checklist of a Bowman release from 10 years ago is sobering.

Dominguez is going to make it prohibitively expensive this year anyway.

1 week before release is when checklist usually drops.

Odds are it’s ready to ship, they’re probably building the shipments. It probably leaves their dock by April 8th.

I think if we were gonna have a delay, it would of been confirmed by now.. shipping is less than 2 weeks out, so they should know if it is ready.

I got “lucky” and got the last couple cases at around 1800 before they went up, and I thought that price was high...

Really depends on who else will be included and the overall size of the checklist (<60.) If guys like Luis Rodriguez, Erick Pena, Brennen Davis, Maximo Acosta, Luis Matos, etc. end up on the checklist the current prices will seem like a great deal.

Same, got 5 hobby ($1800) and a Jumbo ($2300.) Might hold some and break some depending on the checklist.

I found some presales under 170 for hobby but even that seems too high for 1 auto, gotta wait for the mega box now

Bowman Retail is ROUGH. Not saying that Hobby or Jumbo are worth it at these prices but Retail is rough sledding even at MSRP. Bowman is all about the autos and the chance of getting a chrome auto in Retail is tiny.

That was a great buy at the time, I got 5 cases of each if I don't get cut. But I Have a feeling everyone will get cut some at the price point its at.
