Weird that you have to wait 2-4 days for the pack to be delivered to you.

I hope that’s only for the Red and Green Prizm soft launch releases.

No difference beside the distribution channel via online packs and that Prizm is the first base product.

Also it’s not true that nobody cares about the redemptions, the good ones go for decent money on eBay and the Blockchain Auctions, it’s just questionable to put them into physical packs since the majority of physical card collectors indeed don’t care.

Most professional leagues will probably have two NFT platforms (moments and cards). NBA and MLB already announced both, others will probably follow.

BTW Panini has only roughly 16k NFTs released so far (half of them probably still buried in physical boxes like 2019/20 NT Basketball), that’s not much by any means.
This release will probably increase population, but probably won’t be even close to figures like NBA Topshot. I mean there’re more Tomas Satoransky Moments available than Panini BC NBA, NFL, MLB Players & Soccer NFTs combined!

It's "NFT" this time, tho.

Using the term blockchain in 2021 is equivalent to wearing a YOLO hat to a Lil Baby concert.

There's levels to this ish.

Isn't it done on their site like their other blockchain cards? I assume that's how it'll be. For $10, I'm willing to experiment and see what's up. Can't be any worse than trying to convert wax into dollars.

I am sure the initial packs will be done that way, but zero mention of how you can resell your NFTs? Thought it was an odd omission if they intend to use their marketplace for it.

That's the whole point. You don't need a dedicated marketplace to sell NFT's (and rake the 5%)

You need a marketplace to sell NFTs. Marketplaces take transaction fees.

Opensea takes 2.5%, Rarible takes 5%

You should actually try to learn about how NFTs work instead of spending all your time blindly bashing them with little to no understanding of them

The Panini marketplace does need an overhaul though. Its very cumbersome to navigate in general. Buys/sells are just a pain to get done.

does that mean it's mint on demand and they'll just make as many as they sell?

Do you ? I'm pretty sure you can sell whatever NFT you want without a marketplace and transfer it to the other person's wallet. There are gas fees involved. Having a marketplace makes it easier to match buyers/sellers.

Nope, no idea why there is a delay. They said everything is already minted and ready to go.

It depends where the asset was minted, really. There are many complexities within the NFT market. You can transfer things yourself but the ease of it really differs. If you don't understand smart contracts at all you're never going to be able to figure out how to transfer assets.

Rarible takes a commission at the very end, it’s 2.5% on each end, so 5% of final sale price.

OpenSea provides its marketplace infrastructure for free—it's entirely free to get started setting up a marketplace and using our platform. As compensation for this service, 2.5% of each sale will go to OpenSea.

1 pack per transaction? Wonder how fast these will sell out? Just assume bots take all of them but give it a shot
